Nice durable belt
After 10 years of nearly daily service this belt finally gave up. The buckle fell off after the loop attaching it had the stitching fail. Can't really be upset at 10 years for a 26 dollar belt. I'll probably buy another one.

Just the belt I needed
Strong and good value for my money. I bought only one to test it and now I'm going to get a second belt different color!

Every day fit
My second one. The first was one size too big after a few years. These belts look great and work like a charm

Good belt, but the finish isn't for me
This is a really nice belt. I bought it for a work belt, hoping it would hold up. I specifically looked for a full grain leather belt. After about a month of daily use it still looks almost new. It seems to fit true to size. I have a 30" waist but bought a 34" belt because they didn't seem to make a 32", and other reviews I read said it ran a little small. I use the smallest hole on the 34" and it is just barely tight enough. It is actually a little loose when I wear pants that are tight on me. The reason I took a star off and only gave it 4 stars is for the finish. It has a satin, almost glossy finish to it like a wax coating or something. It shows every crease, nail mark, and scuff. Not a huge deal for me because it is for work, but I would rather just have an oiled leather belt. After buying this I bought the Wrangler Rugged Wear belt in brown. I love it. I wish I would have bought that in brown and black rather than this. I reviewed that as well, but in short, it is full grain leather, the leather looks better, and the triple stitch is a nice look.

Excellent Belt, Just Not My Size
I looked at belts for quite a while before selecting the Carhartt Men's Anvil Belt. I sought out reviews and viewed photos of the product using the magnifier, just to see what kind of construction they had. I was impressed, to say the least. These belts are genuine leather and solid pieces, not thin strips with paper fillers sewn together. Very impressive. The buckle construction is chunky and heavy, very durable. All-in-all, a belt I WISH I could wear. I am at the weird end of the spectrum body-type-wise, and am quite skinny. I have a 30" waist and this belt, as nice as it is, just doesn't fit me. Carhartt belts all start at 34" and go up from there. So, even on the last hole position, it's still just a bit too big, and it leaves a lot of extra belt to have to tuck in. SO, I gave it to my son who has a 32" waist and it fits him great! He loves it. I just wish Carhartt would make belts for us small guys! I love their products and wear the Men's Twill Work Pants everyday! That's what got me to looking at more of their product line, the pants are excellent, so maybe other Carhartt products are good too. And they are. Just not my size. Oh well. Hope this helps you. The belt is very nicely constructed and well finished, but you better have a 32" waist or larger to be able to wear it.

Logest Lasting Belt......Ever!
I'm unsure if I've ever reviewed a product until now. The Carhartt Anvil style belt is a solid winner! I was searching my purchase history for this belt to buy another in a different color (black) and was shocked after learning when it was purchased.I use this as my everyday belt and after all this time its appearance is worn however the leather has not broken down. No cracks, no torn punch holes, no tearing at the buckle fold. Amazing longevity. The math: Conservatively worn 300 days per year at 15 hours. 300 x 15 = 4500 hrs. Ready? 300days x 15hrs. x 9yrs. = 40,500 hrs.I have no idea what Carhartt uses as the expected life but these results are for a belt that is NOT at end of life. Buy 2 and you're set for 20 years. Probably a mixed review for a company in the business of selling. Their business of customer satisfaction is without question.

Previous purchase lasted 10+ years
I just bought a second one of this belt after I found it sagging the last year. According to Amazon I last purchased it over 10 years ago, so that should serve as a sign of its durability. Actually, the old belt is still usable if you don't plan on hand too much extra stuff from it.As for the belt itself: it is wide and stiff and great if you carry a hip pack or something else heavy. No complaints.

Nice quality leather belt
The media could not be loaded. This belt is really well built. It's just a single piece of thick leather, so there's no worry for it to split apart in layers or anything. The color looks nice, even though it's a little darker than what you see from the picture. The belt is made in China, but I don't think that could mean this is not a good quality item. The buckle is a gun metal color, which looks really nice, but I'm not sure about how long is it going to last in place. The buckle is a little big too, more than 2 inches wide and long. The brand's logo is engraved in the leather, but it's almost not noticeable, so no issues there. The last thing I'm adding here is that the belt doesn't have any bolt or screw to hold the buckle. I has 2 seams to keep both sides together, which I think looks nicer. In summary:Nice quality leather (thick and single-piece)Nice color (darker brown - dark brown gradient)Big buckle (more than 2 inches in width and length)Gun metal-colored buckle (hopefully will last long)No screws to keep buckle in place (leather is stitched together)Nothing else to say, I'll update if I find it necessary.
