I really appreciate the ability for custom sizing. This one was 11’x29’. I had been planning on making my own shade sail for a lot more money before I found this. I just finished putting it up over my clear roofed solarium that gets very hot in the sun. I wish I had ordered a foot larger in each dimension now for a little better coverage. It is hard to figure out the exact sizing it needs to be for something this large, with stretching and needing to account for hardware. But overall I am pleased. I wish there were a few more colors to choose from, but the green looks nice enough. It seemed very well made and sturdy putting it up. Glad it has the stainless cable reinforcement. My turnbuckles were almost giving out from the tension, but the shade was not phased. I thought I would not be able to tighten in enough to keep the middle from sitting on the roof, but it cinched up nicely with the turnbuckles for ample clearance.

Works on a boat dock with heavy prevailing winds. Cable reinforcement makes all the difference. Takes a lot of tension to set the shape properly, and not easy to install, so watch a couple of installation videos if this is your first. Also, we suggest buying heavier hardware than what’s offered in the “installation kits” sold here. They’re just not capable of handling conditions that this sail stands up to. That said, it’s a great shade sail and worth the extra money. Holds up under pretty extreme conditions (60+ mph winds here). Not waterproof but knew that buying it. Waterproofed it ourselves with a silicone / mineral spirits “bath”. No color change.

this was the super shade sail, which had the cable running around the perimeter of the sail. When you get it it has slack cable protruding on each corner (in our case, 4 on the rectangle). We purchased a 20' x 24' to cover our 21' round above ground pool, and it covered around 90 - 95% of the pool. Product quality was good, but there were no installation instructions. By instructions, I was looking for install/tensioning tips, but there were none. We called around mid-day, but it was almost dark by the time they called back. I tightened enough to where almost all of the cable slack was absorbed. I assume that was sufficient, but time will tell. Overall, a good product for a reasonable price. And boy did it help! Dropped our pool temperature an average of 8 degrees, which is huge! It would get up to around 94 degrees in the middle of the day. Now it peaks at 88 degrees. For you folks with a pool you know what a difference that is!!!

So far it’s only been up for a week. It blocks the sun well and seems high quality. The only issue I have is not being prepared for how much it stretches after being secured. We put in concrete posts based off the measurements and also the physical size of the sail. Then over the first few days it expanded way more than expected. It’s now too big for our anchor points and sags. Maybe I missed that in the description??? If it’s not included it needs to be.

I have had this sun shade up for several months now. I live on a windy island, and was a bit worried about whether it would last or "flap" in the wind constantly. The fact that the sides are all lined with stainless steel wire is a GREAT feature and in my opinion has made all the difference. I have had many OTHER sun shades that did NOT have the stainless steel wiring, and they never lasted more than a couple of months. With the reinforced sides, you can truly stretch the sun shade tight, so that it does not FLAP in the wind. I am very impressed with this product, and can recommend it highly. I bought it to keep my dogs in a shady area of the yard and they certainly love laying underneath it! You cannot beat the price either! Excellent product!

Product looks nice and well made! BUT unfortunately mine started tearing up a couple of months after installation, and I was outside the amazon return window. Tried calling Colour tree and they only process warranty claims via emails. so I sent an email and the very next day they responded and need some info and a picture. and the day after that I received the tracking for the replacement!! Very fast and efficient and I'm not worried with such great customer service.

Very strong grommets. But add at least 12” more distance for each post than you think you need. It will stretch. BUT, the cable crimps broke and the cable pulled out. I tried to find a way to call the seller. But all I could get was voice response given me Tex number or email address. I gave up and opened the seems and reconnect The cable with cable clamps. Needless to say. “I’m not very satisfied with this product. Now if I could have talked to a representative it would have been much better. So if buy this product and it holds up I bet you will like it. But it breaks like mine did, good luck taking to a rep.

I was quite surprised that this unit did not hold up as long as other sails I had that were much cheaper. I decided to pay extra hoping that I would not have to replace it for many years. That was not the case. I am quite familiar with wind sails and have had several over the past 12 years or so. I even incorporate trampoline springs on the corners to lower the stress on the fabric on windy days. They advertised a warranty, I am looking into that now.
