Was the right size and hooked up as designed

Item is exactly what it says it is! Arrived early and was very impressed.

The telescoping shaft had some grease on the exposed part of the male shaft but no grease at all on the inside between the two pieces and on top of that there were several burrs on the inside wall of the female end that caused this thing to seize up so bad that the only way I was able to pull it apart was to chain one end to a tree and give the tractor a running start to yank them apart. Once apart I could see grooves gouged into the male end from the burrs inside the female end and it was also bone dry, no grease at all. It jammed up into an extended position while I was running the auger which almost damaged the auger.

Product appears to be just fine, but I have a Tractor Supply post hole digger and it has a 1 3/8 smooth stub on the gearbox. I looked everywhere on line and couldn't find the size before I purchased this one because it says it fits post hole diggers.

Arrived sooner than expected & put it on tractor post hole digger. Worked fine & hope it will last.
