Great for curious kids!
This kit is great for learning about circuits. The copper tape is great to work with, so much more kid-friendly than wires. Additional leds (in different colors) can be purchased on Amazon for cheap. Good investment, would be a great gift for elementary ages and up.

A great product that combines crafting and tinkering
A great product that combines crafting and tinkering! The book that came along with the kit was extremely helpful while also being creative. I was planning on using in my classroom after we master Circuit Jr., but I need to figure out how to reuse the stickers before we play around with them. I used them for a sign to advertise an event and people loved them! I have had no trouble with any parts sent and they are easy to manipulate and explore with. Every item was clearly marked and obvious. Again, I just wish I knew how to reuse them over and over again. Highly recommended for crafty people who want to add something different to their projects. I feel like anyone (and any age) would be able to be successful with this kit and more importantly have fun while doing it!

Well done
My 6 yr old and I went on a circuit bender and of all the types we tried (snap circuits, squishy circuits, conductive ink, conductive thread), this was by far my favorite for ease of use, durability, and creative potential for both 2D and 3D works. Making light up cards and pop up books, "wiring" a shoebox dollhouse, making a lantern that starts out flat but folds into a cube (thereby closing the circuit and turning on the light) - we have had fun. The booklet that comes in this kit does a marvelous job letting you explore the fundamentals, which was appreciated since we have deep experience in "art" projects but no prior experience with electronics.

Great way to learn paper circuit basics
I love this little notebook for learning and creating circuits! The only thing I wish is that there were a couple more lights for playing with. Also, once you stick the light down, if you need to pull it up to adjust or use on another project, it bends it slightly and is harder to get to connect correctly. I'm sure I'll learn how to be better with this, but it is a frustration at this point. My 9 year old has been itching to get her hands on my notebook, so I am thinking I might have to buy her one of her own for this summer.

Great experience if a little on the expensive side
Once you figure these out they are so much fun for card making! However be sure to buy extra lights because they are extremely delicate. I had some trouble with my first circuit and had to peel some of the little lights up. Pieces broke off the little lights and then they wouldn't work anymore. So I went through like 4 of the white lights just testing it out even though the kit only comes with 6 white lights and then had to use my yellow lights instead. That was a bummer considering that ordering extra lights is like 30 dollars on their website(and amazon) and they don't make smaller packs of lights for purchase. Also buy extra batteries because if you want really bright lights on your card(or whatever) you're gonna want to use both of the batteries that come with the kit. It got a great reaction from the person who recieved my card so overall it was a great experience if a little on the expensive side. I don't have any more white lights so I'll have to find some good use for my red and blue lights leftover.

So much fun
The kit has easy to follow instructions. It may seem a little pricey but it has what you need to make 2 complete cards, and the lights and foil for 12 cards; you just need to buy more batteries. (And ,of course, the card stock) They are the same batteries that you would use for tea lights, so inexpensive. I will buy more of this product.

Dad liked it more than the kids.
This is a review that I hate to leave. I'm a Software Engineer, and I'm very interested in getting my kids involved in STEM. I really liked the idea of these, and they're executed very well, it's just... my kids didn't like them. I'm not sure exactly why, they did do a couple of sketches with them, but the circuit stickers just didn't really catch on. Could be that they were just on the cusp, age wise, and are a little too old to find these very enticing. With that said, the kit is packaged nicely, everything worked as advertised, and personally, I think it's a great idea... But it was definitely a swing and a miss for my kids.

Lights Worked Well, Glad I Got the Kit
This was my first time using this type of LED on a project. My husband and I are both tech-inclined so I debated whether to buy the kit or just the lights. I opted for the kit and am glad. The instructional book that came with it proved helpful, and it was nice to have all the components we needed at hand. All turned out well. The lights were nice and bright, and the tape was easy to apply. I'll gladly use these Chibi Lights on future projects.
