Very Unique!
I love this product! It was very fun to use and created such a unique look! I received 6 pots of gel, and after using them on both hands, I don’t know if I’ll ever run out. I hardly used any to create the look I chose compared to how much is in the pot. I wanted to use the gel over a white base, so I painted my nails white to put the flower over. To get the flowers by themselves, without the colored base, I put the gel onto a beauty sponge. This soaked up the colored base and just left the cute flowers and pedals behind. I placed the flowers on my nail using an orange wood stick so I could get the distribution I was looking for. You don’t have to place them by hand if you want the colored base along with the flowers. I find that still using the sponge method kept me from having too much product on my nail. The flowers do leave a 3D effect, so I put a few layers of gel top coat on top to smooth out the look. I got a lot of complements and questions on my nails the very first day I wore them.I’ve read some of the other reviews for this post. Doing the sponge method of soaking up a lot of the base the flowers are in helps to get a smoother finish and to avoid heat spikes. You can put the gel on the sponge, sponge on the flowers, and repeat to get the density of flowers you want. If you are feeling a burning sensation, you might have the gel on your actual finger. It’s always important to clean around your nail when working with a lot of product or when sponging it on.Overall, I think this is definitely worth a purchase if you love flowers! I think the amount of product I received will last me indefinitely, and the look it makes is truly unique.

Read the reviews of people who had success!!
Ok, I admittedly am new with gel nail products. I wish I had read the reviews from the people who had success before trying this the first time. I ended up with lumpy, thick, fugly nails. I burned myself in the lamp.100% user error. I didn't know to use paper towel or a sponge to remove most of the gel to get better concentration of the flowers. I honestly was going to throw them out after not finding useful YouTube tutorials to fix my application woes. I'm glad I came back here and read the successful users comments. Will try again and will change my review I'd successful next time. This is not a user friendly beginner item.

Cute, delicate look
So I am new to at-home gel manicures and gel extensions. I prefer sheer, jelly-like colors. These flower gel pots are sheer and easy to use. BUT, I think for the at-home manicurists, directions should come with the product. My mistake while using this product was using too much at once instead of a light coat on top of my gel builder, then placing the flowers where I wanted them with the second coat. I just plopped the flower gel on my nails and they are too thick. I have learned from mistakes and will try again when I fill-in my gel in a couple of weeks.

A little effort for salon gel nails
It’s really pretty, just as described and a great price when you think that you get all six dried flowers. I’m using one at a time so that it doesn’t dry out. Each polish comes individually wrapped. Make sure you open each one in case something is wrong.Tips for success below.Tools - alcohol, napkins, nail polish brush, gel base coat, gel top coat, gel color (recommended but not necessary such as white or gray), nail file or buffer and uv lamp-clean, file your nails and wipe them with alcohol.- put on the base coat, cure, color coat, cure.-dip your nail brush into the flower gel, and lay on a napkin until most of the gel is soaked up. Then use your brush and pat on the flowers on to your nail. You can scrape off any flowers on the napkin on to your nail. Keep this gel layer as thin as possible.- cure the flower gel polish layer. I cure it for four minutes. It will be sticky so don’t touch it. It’s slightly sticky so it will stick to the final coat.- put on the top coat and cure- file/buff the nail until it’s smooth. Don’t press hard, buff/file lightly so there are no sharp edges from the flowers or noticeable bumps.-rinse with water NO SOAP! Or wipe with alcohol. Dry your nails.- put on another layer of top coat and cure for another four minutes.

Not pleased
I'm finding it very difficult to get any of the dried flowers to show up on my nails at all. The concept is great, but the execution is not -- you have to put on a SUPER thick gloppy layer of gel to get any of the flowers in it and it just doesn't look good. On further inspection, I noticed the photos are all photoshopped -- it's just the same nail over and over again. I should've looked more closely. I'm going to try to return since I can't use this. :(

So pretty! Some tricks I learned
These are so pretty! I did some test swatches before actually doing my nails to see how to best use it and what colors I wanted to do. This are my observations/what I did.-I did swatches with two coats of the full gel and found, in order to get as many flowers as I wanted, the nails were way too thick. So, I ended up doing one layer with gel and flowers and a second layer with just flowers.-I did one layer with the gel and flowers as it comes, so I could get the background tint of the gel. I do exclusively gel nails, so I’m familiar with a slight heat spike. This gel has a MUCH more aggressive heat spike. Just an FYI if you have a low pain tolerance. Put your hand in the light for a couple of seconds, pull out. Repeat until it stops burning. It hurt a lot, but it’s brief.-For the second coat, I spread the gel and flowers on paper towels and pressed the gel into the paper towels so it would absorb in. I then scraped the flowers off the paper towels and applied to my nails. Doing so, I got more flowers but without the thickness of the gel. This coat did not burn in the light at all.-I used a thick coat of builder gel to encapsulate the flowers and to avoid a bumpy texture.-One to two coats of topcoat. Two if the flower texture was still coming through.I love these! I think they are so pretty!
