I worked in two podiatry offices years ago. This is what we used to build up custom arches in some patient shoes. Amazon only had large so I will cut a pair down to pediatric/small size and glue them in first, then layer a large pad over it also with rubber cement. Doing that gives me double the height in the inside of the instep without being bulky where I don't want it. The spenco inserts (cut to my shoe size) then fit over the pads and voila! you have comfortable custom arch support without too much bulk or the stiffness of orthotics. (Be sure to place pads in shoes first and try them on for placement/comfort. You may only need one pad in each shoe but it's nice to know that if you need more build-up/support, a second can be cut smaller and a knife used to thin/taper the instep edge on it so there is no bump under the larger pad placed over it.)

I placed these into my sons basketball shoe after wondering why am I paying all this money for Air this and Air that if I am going to stick a hard plastic arch support in there??? he only needs a little support so I gave these a try...I currently have them in 2 of his game shoes and he said they are working great...no pain in the foot or knees...my only concern was the leading edge of the support is flaking off after a few uses...not sure if this is normal?? I will keep my eye on this..other then that it works great...FYI if you are a heavy over pronator these are probably to soft and not enough support

As a runner I have a pronation problem and although I wear stability shoes, I need extra arch support. These work perfectly as they are not too sharply defined, instead with a subtle profile. Adhesive backing works well and L-R interchangeable fit is a plus.

Great to be able to support my feet. I replaced padding in ankle-foot-orthotic but these work well as stand alone arch supports. Self stick but I use more adhesive due to surface inside brace/shoe to prevent movement. These last month's & months.

Great pad and great idea, but very small pads. The larges in these are about the same size as mediums in other brands. These are not made for people with high arches. I couldn't feel that these were even in my shoes.
