For the price and functionality, these are great. You will need the screw in to 1/4 inch tube adapter.

Hydronix are well made
Ive been using this brand for most of my post membrane filters and mineral supplementing filters. Water always tastes good and never had a problem with this brand. They converted to built in push in hose ends so install is fast and easy!

SOMETHING MUST BE MISSING
I disliked the fact I still have to buy the fittings. From the picture I thought the fitting came with the two units ( although the instructions says to remove the fittings) . Fast on-time delivery but, but installation will take time I have to find four fittings near by or online.

Perfect RO System Replacement
I own one of the US Water Systems all American Made 5 filter Reverse Osmosis systems. While doing my routine filter changing, I accidentally over tightened the final new filter and the elbow broke off inside of it. I was in a pinch because we use our RO system daily, and I had to get replacement parts pretty much the same day. Home Depot and Lowe's didn't have any of these types of filters, but Lowe's did have elbow replacements in stock. So I got the elbow at Lowe's, and Amazon delivered this filter that day. I installed everything and my RO system has been running like normal with zero difference in taste or quality. I would highly recommend this filter if you're in a pinch and need one quickly.

Works great with Sawyer Point-ONE filter
The Sawyer filter is very good at filtering out pathogens, but chemicals and metals/minerals in solution pass right through. So this activated carbon filter fills the bill well to filter much of those things out. I put it upstream of the Sawyer since it also filters particles down to 5 microns or so reducing the load on the Sawyer filter. I use push-in tubing connectors on the carbon filter for quick connections.

NO FITTINGS! They are pictured in the ad photos as if they come with the fittings for 1/4" tubing.
Did not receive any 1/4" tubing fittings in my order that was received. They are pictured in the advertisement as if they come with the filter. They do not. They are missing. They should come with the filter as they used to in my previous order a year ago when I did receive the 2 fittings and they came with the filter. Going Cheap, I see.
