Works great. No need for old style bench dogs.
It works extremely well. I had the old style bench dogs and I don’t use them nearly as much now that I have this new tool. It seems sturdy after a couple months of use, very easy to use, clamps projects tightly and gently and has a short learning curve. I’m very pleased.

Working good
Used a couple times now on various thickness material.Takes a bit to understand how to adjust tension but once set they seem to hold the piece rock solid.Work well in the 3/4 dog holes. They seem like very lightweight material so hoping they hold up under constant use.

Quick and easy to use! Love them!
I’ve been using the hold down clamps for a few weeks now and love them. I make a lot of home decor pieces that are small and sometimes make the mistake of using my hands to hold things to together when gluing and nailing up. With these clamps now, I won’t have anymore close calls with the nail gun. Super easy to assemble, use and compliment my Armor Tools Doghole Table which has also provide and great even, sturdy, and level work area to assemble and build in my shop. I hope to order more soon to ramp up production. Thank you Armor Tools

Do not buy! Bad design and build quality
I like the concept of this clamp, but the build quality and design are flawed. The bar that the lever slides on is not welded, so when pulling up on the clamp, you might pull the sliding bar out. Reassembling it is difficult. In addition, the bottom horizontal part that holds the sliding bar has cracked. The company (BORA Tool) only has a WhatsApp chat for support. They promised to replace my broken clamp Feb 6, but they didn't follow up. On Feb 18 I reached out for an update, and they said the clamp was out of stock. On May 4 I asked them for an update, and they didn't reply. I'm now posting this review on June 19.

Good quality and works great
Using these on my dewalt folding welding table. The holes on the table are slightly bigger than 3/4”, however these clamps do the job. I couldn’t find anyone who had used these clamps with this table, so I took a risk and am not upset at all with the result!! These clamps are great. They hold my rockler trim router table to my workbench quite nicely. I would and may buy more of these clamps.

Very nice hold down
I use the standard hold fasts which work very well at keeping my work from moving around. The only draw back is having to place a small pad between the fast and the work to prevent marring the work. Also I have to keep a mallet close by to "whang" the fast into submission. With the Armor hold down, I set the pressure I needed and it is quick and simple to set the hold down or release. The hold down has a nice plastic pad to prevent marring the work. This has now become my go to hold down. Good job on making a great product.

Okay but inconsistent..
In the end I received 3 of these. One of the first two did not fit snugly in my Festool MFT table. Even with tightening it up all the way there was still play. The company I purchased these from shipped out a replacement and told me to not return the damaged one. As I got into using these to hold a piece of wood in place for sanding I found them cumbersome. They (all 3) would force my piece into a slanted position which would eventually work itself loose. They are difficult to tighten into the 20mm hole by hand ad not have them wiggle. Also while sanding my work piece the adjustment tightening knob would keep working itself loose and fall out after 10-15 minutes of sanding. These seemed like a good resort as opposed to pushing out the big dollars for the festool clamps but I may have to end up going that direction these are almost useless and unreliable. I wanted to like them but they just have too much working against them. Picture attached shows how it hold work piece when using adequate pressure to stabilize piece.

I like the Armor tool brand but...
First of all, I've only just opened the packages with my 2 clamps... I will leave it for others to judge how well it performs. The clamp comes in modest/easy to open plastic clamshell packaging, which I like. The clamp itself is slightly different than the clamp in the pictures... They've added a removable plastic molding at the flat base of the clamp which I imagine may protect your material a bit from marring.... Which I appreciate. That metal cylindrical 3/4 inch peg isn't solid metal (in case you're expecting that)... It's hollowed out into sectors but I doubt that it will impair it's function in any way, but I thought I should mention it.This peg is not attached to the clamp from the factory... You have to do the screwing on... And it has a nicely (force-needed?) Screw motion requirement ... I much prefer this to a loose wobbly attachment.... But here's the thing... While I was muscling that peg in, I didn't realize that the ridges on the peg are really quite sharp, so when I was done I had lots of small surface slices on the skin on my fingers... I should've worn gloves and you should too.And lastly and most importantly, my package was totally devoid of any included instructions... No usage instructions, no product care and maintenance instructions... Sure... One would think it's a clamp, so why?... But there are at least 3 different mechanisms on this clamp that require user adjustment and they chose not to give the purchaser any guidance... I don't appreciate that, a simple QR code linked to a webpage or YouTube video would have been appropriate.
