Review: Good stuff! - Wow this stuff really expands. I needed to fill in the open space in the AC wall unit in my living room. My advice is to take your time, apply sparingly and let it expand. We rinsed out the straw immediately to ensure we would be able to reuse it.
Review: Kept the Breeze out and my house is warmer! - After using all that i needed, I still have half a can! (wear some kind of gloves when spraying) This spray foam is among the best I've ever used. I had an issue where there were cracks in my walls and air was coming through from the outside (for reference, it was 30 degrees outside). My main living area would be around 72 and my room would be around 60. Really bad. The spray nozzle on the foam got right into the tight crack and very easily expanded in my walls. I felt a woosh of cold air as it pushed the last of it out of the wall, and now my room is about a 1 degree difference from my main living area. I was very surprised with how well this stuff worked at keeping out the cold. This is no replacement for insulation, but it will definitely help in the meantime! Wear gloves when spraying this, sometimes the foam leaks through the top of the can, but that was a minor worry for me.

**Q: Is closed or open cell foam?**
A: Hi Meggi, 
This is a closed cell foam.

**Q: can this be used to fill holes between dry wall and hardwood, then covered with molding? Will the foam crack if a nail goes into it?**
A: This is the perfect place to use this foam! I did this in my own home recently when we were installing new baseboard. You can apply the foam in the gap, and like others said be careful about overfilling because it does expand quite a lot. I also highly recommend buying our Cleaner / Amazon # B0002YWRG4  because you can spray this on a paper towel and clean up foam when it's still wet. It's a useful product for any project using GREAT STUFF foams. Don't worry if it puffs out too much, you can cut, sand, caulk or paint this foam once fully cured/dry. The foam will not crack if you nail through it but it also is not structural so you'll need to make sure you're nailing the molding into the wall. Good luck with your project!

**Q: is it safe around a hot baseboard heater pipe coming into the room through the floor?? thats where mice get into the rooms from under the floor**
A: I looked at the can and it doesn't really say. The stuff before it cures is full of flammable gas but it doesn't say anything about keeping the cured material from heat. Now, that being said, (I'm putting on my professional chemist hat) Great Stuff is a polyurethane. And polyurethanes are flammable. So, I would be concerned if the area got very hot, say over 150F. Hope this helps.

Just applied. So far so good. It was a little messy to start, but I got the hang of it. DEFINITELY WEAR GLOVES. I got a little bit on my leg and end up having to shave part of my leg hair. Was ready to trim using a box cutter. No smell. I used on about a total of 48' and still about half the can left.
