However, It won me over because it was easy to handle, no edge chipping or wandering holes.. It even bored through the fiberglass coated 3/4 plywood underlayment with ease and there was no trouble getting the plugs out of the bit. I have precast walls which are about 1.5 inches thick, but it's 5000psi concrete, so it's very hard. I rubbed this bit down with some lubricating oil right before drilling. This worked great, went through in less than 5 minutes without having to pull it out to cool or re-oil.
