Needs upgrades for regular use
I ordered these because my girlfriend threw herself headlong into the hobby of skating and got herself a pair of Moxi skates, and I wanted to be able to join her in skating around our local parks and some of the cities we visit, and also to save money on renting skates at the rink whenever we go. They’re definitely solid, especially considering the price, but there are a few things to consider depending on your build and what you intend to use them for.The boot itself is perfectly fine, I have no complaints with it whatsoever. I think it was maybe slightly smaller than most of my shoes in the same size, but not enough to be uncomfortable, and I think the snug fit helps me to feel more secure skating on them. I didn’t have to break them in much at all, but I leave the top two pairs of lace hooks undone because the boot was rubbing my ankle raw fully laced up. It’s also worth mentioning that the laces are insanely long, to the point that even wrapping them around my ankle and double-knotting them they still hang pretty close to the wheels unless I tuck them into the boot. Either way, they’re comfy, padded just enough, and well made to the point that I’m not worried about them coming apart. Gets the job done.I’m not a heavy guy, only maybe 170 fully clothed but I’m pretty tall, and the truck cushions that these shipped with are definitely not going to cut it for much longer. I had to tighten them down incredibly far during my first night at the rink before I felt even moderately stable on them. Each time I did a lap until I reached that point, during turns, the trucks pivoted so far that the wheels would actually contact the sole of the boot, taking some material out of the sole, usually throwing me in the process. I’m going to have to swap the cushions for a harder material in order to make long-term use of these, but if you’re shorter or lighter than you’ll likely apply less leverage to them and be ok.The wheels are probably the best part about these skates. They’re a medium diameter, 57mm, and medium hardness from what I can tell (they don’t appear to have a regular rating like 87A etc), and they gripped just fine in the rink, but they also have done perfectly well in public. I took these on some paved trails in a local park and, although they can’t handle cracks the size of those my girlfriend’s 65mm wheels can take, I wasn’t ever thrown by any small debris that I hit during the day either. I’ll want softer wheels eventually for those conditions anyways because I can definitely feel every crack and crevice of the pavement shooting up my legs. The bearings are pretty weak. When the wheels are tightened to eliminate wobbling on their axles, they spin maybe two revolutions when spun by hand before coming to a stop. I have to put in much more effort on flat ground than my girlfriend does to maintain the same speed. The size of my wheels does also contribute to that, but the bearings are definitely Not Very Good. The toe stops are pretty much garbage, I wore through at least 10% of my right side stop the very first night at the rink, and in the public park on pavement went through at least another 30%. They also have a habit of chipping instead of rubbing away, losing large chunks of material at a time for no net benefit to your stopping force. Those and the truck cushions should be your first upgrades. All in all, once I replace the toe stops and cushions, I’ll have no glaring issues with these, since I don’t have a problem with my lack of cruising ability yet. I will eventually get larger, softer wheels for outdoor use and replace the original bearings with Bones brand, and after that they will be perfect in my eyes. I’m very casual about this but those upgrades will be necessary to have a completely satisfying experience on these skates. I absolutely feel like I got my money’s worth out of the box, as in, these are sixty dollar skates that are NOT going to be very high quality until you put some more cash into them, but I think that overall it will work out better this way than if I’d spend $150+ on some of the better sure-grips, especially since these came with wheels that are already good for both indoor and outdoor use, and I’ve had good experiences even with their totally stock setup. I’d recommend them to anyone else who just needs some skates, to put it plainly.

Stylish black
I switched my wheels out since I do tricks when I skate but the boot had a snug fit and I loved the color. I would recommend wearing double socks or something for your Achilles since the boot is short cut towards the back and it tends to rub back in that area.

Please read this if you are new to roller skates!!!!
So I am new to roller skating, when I was younger I had been to a skating rink a couple of times and that is all the experience I've had. I recently saw people roller skating on instagram and it really looked fun! So I thought that I could spend my time in quarantine doing something fun and productive. I spent a bit researching about roller skating so I've learned a lot of new stuff that I think some of you might find helpful if you are new to roller skating. So when you skate outside you typically need gummi or softer wheels because they will absorb the bumps from more rougher grounds, while hard plastic wheels are for smooth grounds such as places like roller rinks. The wheels on these skates are in between so they are good for both. But if you do get into more street skating then I definently recommend getting gummi wheels. For the fit of the boot, it fits great! I'm a size 6 for womans shoes, so if you are a female I recommend getting only one size down. If you're worried about them being too wide, no worries it will fit you like a glove. That was one thing I was concerned about but it isn't a problem for me, but if it is more of a problem for you, I recommend wearing thicker or double socks so the boot fits you better. I found that these skates had really good reviews so I decided to get them, plus not to mention they look really slick and classy, and when I got them I definently wasn't disappointed. But I got these skates to start out skating and until I can get the skates that I really like, which are moxi skates. If you are starting out skating like me, I definently recommend these skates to you! They are really good and sturdy for their price and will serve you well until you get better skates. Two other popular roller skating brands are moxi roller skates and impala, which I found many people really like. So if you have a bigger budget and dont care about the wait then I say check them out. Also I recommend getting toe covers if you do not want to scratch the front of the shoe, you can find cheap ones on Amazon. Overall I say that these are really good skates and if you're beginner, these are perfect for you!! So don't hesitate to take them for a spin!! :)

Fair price for fair quality, good options for entry level skater
So far so good.My son has begun skate classes and is looking to move on to artistic skating. I’m hesitant to buy $200 skates this soon, but he had money saved so we agreed to these. He’s been doing well in them and they are true to size. He was happy that he could afford these on his own and it makes him fell more responsible for his choose to skate :)I think it’s fair to say that you get what you pay for with these.1) The tongues are not an even height (shorter on the right foot)2) the upper material isn’t very pliable (so wear double socks while breaking them in or you’ll get blisters)3) laces are SUPER long (skate booties help)4) he complained the brake was too low to the floor, BUT that’s because he’s only ever used rental skates with super worn down breaksOver all, performance is good and skates appear durable for our needs.

Two thumbs up
I usually rollerblade but I’m taking my grandchildren to classes to learn to roller skate so I bought these so I didn’t have to rent used skates-pre corona virus, I’ve always been a “Monk type OCD germaphobe”. I like how I was instructed to purchase a size 9 in men’s as opposed to a size 8 which is the usual size comparison for a woman’s size 10. I tried them on and skated through the house on the hardwood floors and they work great. Great value for a great quality set of skates. Well packaged too. The box they came in is a little larger than a sheet cake from the bakery. But zero complaints here. I’ll add that these are as nice as the $100+ skates they sell at the skating center.

Qualidade muito boa.
O patins é excelente, bota muito forte e resistente, a única observação é que freio me pareceu ser bem sensível, porém isso é o de menos, o patins tem um ótimo preço para sua qualidade e serviu perfeitamente. Recomendo e compraria novamente!!

Great skates!
I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I bought these for my husband and he loves them. I wanted to know what wheels to purchase for out doors and indoors. The wheels on this skates are phenomenal and we don't want to ruin them outside. We're both beginners and not very advanced when it comes to skates.. But It's a hobby that we're willing to take on, it brings bck great childhood memories. He normally take size 12 men. They're a little big, but it's fine as he'll be using insoles for comfort and greater support.

Adorable
These are a good price point, I used them for a while and then removed the wheels and trucks and drilled them into different shoes just for fun. Only thing is when they came the bolts were over tightened on the wheels so remember to loosen them to have better results. Overall super fun and cute.

Great beginner skate
These are a great pair of basic skates. Only thing I would improve is to include a tool to tighten the bolts on the skates. My daughter's stopper unscrewed the second time she used them.
