Ok, I wanted to do a fairly detailed breakdown on this strap that fits my usecase. First of all, I cannot distinguish between the photos for this strap and the strap being offered by another vendor on here, which leads me to believe it is the same strap. Further confusing the issue, both vendors also offer yet another strap that looks almost identical, but I was able to distinguish some differences and while I don't have them side by side to compare, I'm fairly certain this is a "higher-quality" version of the same design, the biggest difference of which being the weight (due to the thickness of the links, I believe) as well as the quality of the clasp. Even more interestingly, it is difficult for me to distinguish a difference between this strap and one being sold for nearly twice as much by Strapco. I'm left wondering if this isn't the exact same hardware, but don't want to spend $60 to satisfy that suspicion. Suffice to say if it isn't the same hardware it is a well thought out clone. The hardware came well packaged, inside a box, inside of which was a nice thick ziploc sort of baggie, inside of which it was shrink wrapped. It seems like they put some thought into the packaging. It also came with a little flat head screwdriver for the links (the links are the screw-in kind which is a nice touch) as well as a link tool for the lugs. Initial quality seems high, though time will tell how well the finish wears. It is a nice matte, brushed finish on the surface, with a nice polished sheen on the sides of the links. The links themselves don't seem to have any sharp edges, and the tolerances between them are not bad, leaving the band feeling very solid and not nearly as sloppy as many bands in this price-range. That's a huge plus this band has going for it. It feels and looks as if it is high quality. A couple of nitpicks that wouldn't deter me from buying this band at this price, but which I would hope would be addressed at the $60+ pricepoint (and which I believe could easily be addressed at this price point). There is a tiny bit of play on the lugs, either because the link is not precisely 22mm or because my Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire is not. This feedback appears to be identical to the feedback of the Super Engineer bracelet sold by Strapco, by the way. Do with that knowledge what you will. This strap uses traditional spring bars. That's too bad, because a quick-release spring bar would have been a nice touch for a watch that does double duty as a sport/adventure watch, as well as an everyday watch. I have many traditional watches to choose from, but sometimes I just want to be able to measure my heart-rate during a conference call AND take my watch mountain biking. On the note of the spring bars, it does not accommodate the thicker spring bars that came stock with my watch, instead supplying it's own smaller spring bars. I haven't yet compared those to some of my other watches, but they seem smaller than the spring bars I'm used to. And that makes me a little nervous. That feedback also strongly resembles feedback about the Super Engineer bracelet sold by Strapco. Again, do with that what you will. Weather the springbars are a concern remains to be seen. But, based on that, I may swap the band out for my silicone strap for my next mountain biking trip, as that puts a lot of strain on the bars, and I don't want to learn a hard lesson. Which just circles me back to my concern about the lack of quick release bars, which would have made this a better choice considering the circumstances. All in all, I like the strap. And, it would look rather handsome on my Victorinox Maverick Chronograph should I decide it's not quite durable enough for my Garmin. So, I won't be returning it. By I will be keeping a wary eye on the integrity of those spring bars... I took a picture so you can see them compared to the factory spring bars that came on my Garmin.

a watch band that's elegant & affordable, just what i like!

I absolutely love the way it looks (it's almost a twin of my all-time favorite band . I love the way it looks and feels, period. Having removable screws instead of pins to remove makes adjusting the size of this band a dream. After spending hours a few weeks ago adjusting a blind friend's watchband (he has a talking watch which announces the time), these are a Godsend. Actually (and this is nit-picking ... sorry) there was one small problem (but only one so far and that's why I gave this band 4 stars instead of 5. I bought the 20-mm band for my new Samsung Galaxy watch 4. But when I first tried to put it on the watch, the band seemed to be too wide. Now as stated on the web page the band is 20-mm wide. (CHANGE: new digital calipers which are far more accurate than the ones I used in the original version of this review.) According to my digital calipers there SHOULD be a gap of roughly 0.143 mm and the band SHOULD fit the watch. Nevertheless it was a struggle getting it onto the watch, but after it was in place it was perfect. So naturally something changed. I had bought the watch to give to a relative as a present. But he didn't like it and gave it back to me. (He's picky. But this is family) So I tried it, and I liked it. But I am used to wearing my old Motorola MOTO gen2 watch and its display area is significantly larger than the one on this watch, so I thought it over, returned the watch, and bought the watch 4 classic 46 mm version. (Surprise! My old watch is a 46mm and so is the Samsung Galaxy watch 4 classic 46mm. BUT the display area of the Motorola is still significantly larger than the Samsung. So I decided to live with it and stop griping.) I had been going to return the watch band (since the watch it was bought for was returned) but then I thought I'd wait and try it on the 46mm classic. But although I was able to get this band mounted properly on the 44 mm watch 4 - it took about 4 minutes per spring ping - after about an hour I gave up. Measuring (again with the calipers, sigh), the 46mm has a slightly smaller gap between the "mounting posts" (whatever they're called) and I was unable to get the watch to fit. I think the problem is the spring pins, because they won't fit into place (by themselves) even without the band. So I'm giving up and will have to return this absolutely gorgeous watch band. Despite the problem I had, I would still recommend this watch band without question ... except of course as noted above. I'm hoping that the manufacturer will come out with a version which fits the 46 mm Samsung watch 4 classic... i'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I bought this for my Orient Mako 2 (pictured on left) since the stock bracelet kept squeaking. I saw this and figured for about $20, it's worth trying. I could've went with a strapcode bracelet, but I want this to be my every beater watch. The bracelet itself is very long. I'm usually at the max end of wrist length, and have to order an extra link for my watches (10in wrist, band wise we're talking 8in). Every time I order a bracelet, I feel like I'm rolling the dice unless something is specified as extra long. With this bracelet, I actually had to remove two links for a proper fit. It comes with the tool you need, as well as spring bar tools and extra springbars. Very easy to change too. While people are saying it's heavy, i think it's actually pretty light. Feels about the same as my old seiko 5 bracelet or my casio bracelets in terms of heft. For reference, the Mako 2 USA (pictured on the right) feels like a heavier solid metal bracelet. This isn't necessarily a bad thing as there are times a hefty watch can be annoying for me personally. It is very comfortable to wear and doesn't get in the way if I'm typing, or feel like something is pulling down my arm when walking for a long distance. Regarding any cons, the top locking part of the latch doesn't feel as tight as other watches, but it hasn't opened on its own. The bracelet has sharp edges all around, but unless i'm touching them I won't really notice. Also with the weight, while not a bad thing, it does kind of make it feel cheap, but it is a $20 bracelet. IMO overall this is a great value that makes any watch look good. If I got another watch and needed to replace a band, i'd buy another one of these in a heartbeat.

Tools provided with the watch band assisted with removing the old band and installing the new one. The watch band has definite "heft", and the brushed stainless-steel band complemented the finish of the watch face.

I really liked the look of this bracelet and tried to order it twice unfortunately at the end links both had really bad machining marks which is a bummer since that's what is closest to the watch face and what you see.

I bought this for an old watch I had that was on a strap. I prefer bracelets, so I got this. It is a brick link with a brushed finish, which looks just like my factory bracelet I have on another watch of the same brand. My watch is attached to the lugs with screws, so that was a miserable thing to deal with. Unless you have a special tool, you have to use 2 screwdrivers and twist them in opposite directions, which is very difficult! But people that just have spring bars like 99% of watches can just pop this on in no time. But I got it on,finally! It had everything I needed to take out links to shorten it (I used sturdier tools that I already had), and came with 2 pair of spring bars, in a nice box with everything in it. It was a great price, has a nice flip-lock clasp with the extra flap I like that snaps down to give me more of a sense of security. And the watch looks EXACTLY like I hoped it would look when I put this new bracelet on! (just ignore the scratches on my old watch!)

It’s exactly as described. I love the design and it has a great weight to it. Not sure how it works for people with large wrists but it fits really well on me thanks to the micro adjustment feature and easy to remove links. I’ve been using it on my favorite watch for a few months and it hasn’t shown any signs of wear. I’d definitely purchase again.
