I'm a paramedic for a city fire department and the stethoscopes that are provided for us are basic at best. This little beauty really makes all of the difference when you're in the back of a noisy ambulance trying to hear lung sounds over sirens and a diesel engine. It's also incredibly durable and light weight.

Ears work good in critical care setting
I'm an ICU RN and need to hear heart sounds, this stethoscope works great, I can hear s3s, s4s, & murmurs etc without a problem.

Not the same product as before.
I purchased this stethoscope in 2002. After all these years, it was time to replace it. I purchased the same product again recently. However, this is a much cheaper version. The first time I placed it in my bag, the screen for the diaphragm falls off. Never had this issue, not once, with the older version. Contacting Littmann to see what they say. Not happy that Amazon tells me that this item is non-returnable.

The color is gorgeous and it's so lightweight. It works the same, if not better, than my Classic III. Can't wait to use it at work!

She loves the color and style of them and gets a great deal of complements
Purchased for my wife who is a CNA at a nursing home and also in our college Nursing program. She loves the color and style of them and gets a great deal of complements. Functionally, I can't speak from personal experience only what she has told me. After a clinical rotation in a nursing home she said even with patients who had very weak vital signs she had no issues clearly hearing what she needed to. That's about all I can say. The only drawback is that it isn't a double-sided head, but so far that hasn't been a problem.

Works great, color off
The stethoscope works better than my littmann classic III. However the color description was purple and the picture looked lighter but I would say it's more of a dark blue with a purple tint in certain lights.

Perfect
As soon as I opened the box and tried them on I could tell them quality was amazing. They fit so nicely, very lightweight and skinny. I use them for daily assessments for breath sounds and bowel sounds and you can hear so clearly. I love how they separate them by category as per daily use. I've always wanted a Littman and this one isn't expensive for what you get. I was able to purchase this plus other supplies I needed without it being too expensive. The color is exactly as pictured. Great product!

Shoddy
I am disappointed with this product. I appreciate this is the cheapest Littmann stethoscope currently on the market but I was still under the impression that the name would give some guarantee of quality. Within three weeks of buying the stethoscope one of the eartips fell off. It did not come with spares.I will add that I am a paramedic and the eartip was lost during the management of a cardiac arrest in a private property. However, I have been in the ambulance service for fifteen years and in my experience much cheaper stethoscopes have lasted a lot longer.

Really nice stethoscope and much cheaper than others. I've used a lot of different ones and you can't tell at all that it is a cheaper one.The design is also really nice and sleek and colours are really nice. Everyone at work was keep stealing it because they liked it so much.

Not durable.
Three weeks after buying this item and using it at work the diaphragm fell out and was lost and resulted in me buying a new one. Not durable at all. Had to buy a new better version. Rather expensive item to replace after such a short time!

Great Steth
I am a Paramedic. I use this all day. I like the single sided head as I find it simpler in the strange / noisy situations that we are often working in. Good clear sounds. Good value for money
