There are actually 2 similar styles, which the listing does not make clear. However, the photos seem accurate. One is a sheer style, which is not hemmed (the images show this accurately for the black), and seems like it won't last very long. The other is NOT sheer, the #2 variety. I purchased a sheer black and a Brown #2. I wear US Medium and both fit as expected. The sheer black was just cut nylon, like stockings. From a distance, it looks good. Not so much close up. The Brown #2 is not so revealing, but has MUCH better construction, and looks good from any distance. It is hemmed, and the front and back overlap at the hip. It has a silky feel and seems to have better construction. It does tend to ride up, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing. I recommend the silky style over the sheer. I just wish there were a Red #2.

So i bought these thinking they were solid like my other shorts, these are not they are mesh and completely see through to my surprise :) don't get me wrong, i really like these shorts, there compfy, very light, side splits are great there is no restriction on your legs, its like wearing nothing at all, you definitely have to wear something underneath, however I wear a thong under them, or if i'm brave maybe nothing underneath these shorts :)These are by far one of my compy shorts in my collection. highly recommend for lounging around the house or like me outside. In short (no pun) these are great!!!

I really love these shorts. I like to run, so I initially purchased these because I am fond of the range of motion that side split shorts offer. These are much shorter than I had anticipated and completely see through. I’m sure that if I had dug deep enough into the product description I would have realized that prior to purchase, but I got click happy. They have become my go to around the house shorts. I love how comfortable they are (it’s basically like wearing nothing) and my wife gets a kick out of everything being visibly on display.

Love these shorts. I ordered large as I normally wear a medium. They fit great and are very comfortable. I will order.again....

The leg opening is not hemmed--it is just cut fabric. If you look very closely at the product photo you can see it. But the actual product was cut very roughly, not at all the smooth arc shown in the picture; it's pretty sloppy. Other than that, they are very airy, and quite see-through!

They are, indeed, transparent. Fit as expected according to the manufacturer's sizing guide.

These short are great for sleeping in.
