**Q: Does this work with new iPad Pro?**
A: This is an old question but with the recent apple changes I was able to plug this directly into my ipad pro 22 version and it works without needing drivers or anything added. (July 1 2023)

**Q: what software do you download to use on Mac book pro?**
A: https://support[dot]identiv[dot]com/smartfold-scr3500/ -> Under Downloads -> Mac Drivers -> Click "Download"

**Q: Will this reader work with the new iPad Pro?**
A: Not yet, but companies like Thursby are working on it.

**Q: Will this work with iPhone X?**
A: At this time Apple doesn’t support Smart Card readers with USB-C connectors, so I’ve learned after getting this for a new iPad Pro, but it’s just a matter of time.  I also have a reader with a lightning connector and it works just fine with my older Apple products (iPhone X, iPad Pro 1st Gen)
