It was very good and my kid loved it it. The timer was good because we did not have to waste power.

My 19 month old is a very active child and would not lay still to sleep on her bed thus takes an hour for her to fall asleep. So I thought I get projectable night lights like this one so that she can stare at the ceiling and fall asleep. But she is terrified of the night lights so I bought 4 other night lights similar until we found this that she actually likes. I think she likes this one because of the patterns and the light colors. Honestly, I like this one too for the same reason. The lights are more nice and relaxing than the others (the blue is like an ocean blue which is perfect for the sea world film, and the warm yellow light is relaxing. Even the LED color is nice). She and I enjoy looking at them in bed especially the sea world. The lamp can also rotate slowly which helps my daughter fall asleep I also like that the brightness are adjustable. I had the lights at lowest setting. Sure enough, my daughter loves to look at them until she falls asleep in 30 minutes. Perfect!

This night light is just the cutest. My 19 month old has another older star light that she absolutely loves, however with a new baby coming I wanted to make sure she had her own for her big girl bedroom. And since I'm looking, I might as well up grade! Pros: - Lots of covers to choose from (from stars and consultations, to happy birthday, to sea animals) - Multiple color options. - Rotates - Continuous on function (though this can also be a con if you don't want it running all night) - Easy to use. Cons: - It does not come with the wall plug-in piece (only with a USB cord). I happened to have a extra plug in from an old cell phone, but it would be nice if it came with one (that is the white plug in that I included in the picture, it did NOT come with the light kit). - No easy way to store the extra slides. You can store them in the cover, but it would be nice if there was something to keep them safe and smudge proof. - It doesn't come with a long USB cord. - It would be nice if there were a separate on/off button instead of holding one of the buttons down (trying to sneak out of a babies room is challenging enough without the extra couple seconds). Honestly the cons are all minor inconveniences, so I overall love this light. But it is something to keep in mind for future products.

This is a small night light with five changing slides for different starscapes, an ocean scene, and (oddly) a happy birthday one. I mean, my kid thought the birthday one was super fun and cool… I thought it was random to dedicate an entire slide to one day but hey, mission accomplished since said kid approved. I will say, I received five long slides and five circular ones for the top of the light… it is hard to keep track of them and I wish they had provided some kind of storage bag or something. This works as advertised: two brightness levels, you can choose to have it spin or stay stationary, and if you keep the outer shell on, it is a more traditional night-light and if you take it off, it projects the images around the room and ceiling. Does this work for settling a child and helping them sleep? Maybe. Not mine though. Alas… this was FAR too interesting and kept my kid up a good long time until I turned it off. Anyway, it works the way it’s supposed to. It’s a cool concept and good product. Didn’t work the way I intended but no reason to knock the product. Four stars: recommend.

This was great night light. There are several different films to put in. If you have a particularly destructive kid, this might not be for you, but it can handle some rough handing and dropping. The power cord that came with it is awful. It worked a handful of times before only working if bent in some magical way, but if you have a kid you'll want to use batteries. The only down side is that for something that uses LED lights it sucks through batteries like you would not believe. I've spent more on batteries than I have on this light because my kid loves it so much. Edit 8/15/2019: this thing is now using 3 AA batteries per night to light up and the connections are poor. Edit October 2019 : seller contacted me to fix issue and offered to replace or refund in full. Great customer service.

This light is great. It is pretty cool with the cover on but take the cover off and wow it becomes the perfect light show to catch the attention of a little one. It comes with several different films, our granddaughter likes the fish. There are three light levels., the lowest level is perfect for night time. It has different light modes you select a color individually or have it sequence through the colors. The LEDs are position so when sequencing the projected image appears to be rotating but there are really no moving parts. Our Grand daughter hated being put to bed but this light shows now catches her attention and she falls to sleep peacefully most nights. I have purchased two of these now one for my grandson in GA and one for my Granddaughter in IN both were a hit. I highly recommend this product, it is not real heavy duty so you cannot let the children play with it but it works well and they love to watch it.
