We recommend using a UV rated weatherproof sealant twice yearly. This sealant is a crucial step in the life of the decking tiles and can extend the life of the decking tiles, in some cases, pending the climate, by 1 to 2 years. The life of a decking tile is heavily dependent on the climate of where they are located. Hot, humid climates, rainy climates, and cold, snowy climates can cause the decking tiles to deteriorate faster than using them in a climate controlled environment, like inside of a house or indoor venue.

Fell apart in less than 6 months
UPDDATED REVIEW: January 15 2020 (less than a year after purchase. We purchased tiles in spring/sumer.) I had to change my rating from 5 to 1 star because honestly these tiles do not hold up in any kind of weather. We've had a mild winter here and as you can see from the photos I've attached, our tiles are chipping, fading and warping. We have a covered porch, so water only hits the tiles from the sides and and sun isn't an issue because we have shade trees that line that side of our home. These turned out to be an epic waist of time and a lot of money down the drain. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Buy something else!UPDATED #2 contacted the seller because it was less than a year since we purchased these and I was told the pictures I provided weren't enough basically. They wanted more pictures. They told me these tiles must be sealed TWICE every year! That makes this product VERY EXPENSIVE It also makes them high maintenance. Not to mention in the description it states how DURABLE the tiles are. My husband and I have a large property with two large wooden decks, and a 6 foot wooden privacy fence around our property. We don't even seal all of that twice yearly. Heck, we sometimes don't get to it once yearly and it's holding up amazingly. This product however is chipping and falling apart after less than a year. Durable?! I think not! They told me dogs nails can wear down the boards. Our puppy is only 8 months old and shes a small breed. I informed them of that. I also informed them that we dont take our dog out the door that has the tiles. We take her out our back door where we have a large yard and room for her to run. (Our back door Also goes right to our garage.) I informed them that we used the tiles on our front porch mostly for curb appeal and now it's taking away from the look of our home. They wanted more pictures "to investigate." How many pictures does a customer have to send to prove your product is defective?! I've never dealt with such poor customer service before. This company raves about their product, but when they fail (and these pavers will fail,) they will NOT cover replacements or refund the costs you put into them.My husband and I used these pavers to cover our outdated concrete porch, and we absolutely love how it turned out! Easy to work with and beautiful when its finished. Also durable and easy to clean. I would recommend to anyone

Absolutely!, Love this product. So much I bought again!
Recently finished construction of my attached patio and struggled with choice of floor covering. My plan to create a Zen like atmosphere to unwind in after a long-night at work (graveyard shift) is near complete with this flooring. I'm constantly upgrading areas of my small piece of the, "American Dream". I am more pleased than I envisioned during my creative brain-storming and the ease with which this product installed is a welcomed bonus. Not one cut made during installation(Woow!), i used a pair of tin-snips to cut the plastic backing when needed. However, not once did I have to bring out saw of any kind. I managed to remove planks when needed to accommodate the end of a run or hug an angle. Buy this product! I only gave flooring 4 stars because, I'm in the infant stage with this flooring and I've read the negative reviews on the aging and weather related short-comings. So, In the event that one of the fore mentioned dampens my giddiness the rating will have its adjustment. Update: work so well, received so many compliments I bought some more. Relandscaped front yard (zero-scape) in drought-strickened California. All, who see absolutely love the appearrance of this product. It has preformed well under moderant season changes here.

Works great as shower floor
After looking at the reviews I decided to give this product a shot and install it in my master bathroom shower. The tile floor in the shower gets cold in the winter and needed something that would fix this for my wife who takes showers every morning. The product works great! No more cold floor and it fits perfectly after a little trimming with the saw.

Some tips:
I used these deck tiles to cover my shower floor. I love how it turned out but I will say for anyone who has flooring that isn’t perfectly square this won’t be an “easy” install like they claim. I couldn’t imagine using a hacksaw (like they recommend) to cut the pieces I needed cut. Luckily I had a circular saw! The tiles I was able to snap in place I had installed in no time. The ones I had to cut with the circular saw took me a few hours. Mainly because I had just enough product to cover my floors I did NOT want to mess up a cut! If you’re like me and are going to have to do some trimming I would recommend getting cardstock or cardboard to create templates of the exact sizes you will need. Cut a little over what you’re needing and sand the rest down as there will be some splitting of the wood. I would also recommend immediately treating this with teak oil as this wood is VERY dry! It is going to work perfectly for my needs and would cost about the same as a nice shower floor mat. I like that this sits up off the ground as it will prevent mildewing like you would get with a mat. Plenty of time for the wood to dry out and plenty of space for the water to still run into the drain with no issues. I can’t wait for my husband to see it! He is going to be so surprised!!

flimsy, but gets the job done.
Ordered 100sqft for my condo balcony to cover up a neglected, weather-worn deck with plank gaps nearly large enough to lose a phone through.Assembly is a bit awkward at first, but quick once you get going. The plastic 'links' are shallow, resist snapping together without a lot of pressure (rubber hammer or heavy heel is advised), and are prone to popping out at the slightest provocation if the deck is even slightly uneven. With enough hammering/stomping, enough snapped together to create a mostly uniform surface, although it does sound like I'm walking on legos in some places. I'd have been happier to rate it higher if the links were more forgiving. The finish is pretty, but it's obvious it's going to need some proper weather sealer for long term outdoor exposure.

It's a beautiful floor.
We love the way it looks. We love that it's raised so no moisture on the floor. Everyone that's seen it loves it. Our neighbor now plans to use it on her screened in porch.
