I absolutely LOVE these non-stick french skillets!
I have All-Clad's french skillets in all four sizes. They are wonderful. The bottoms are flat so there is more surface area for sauteeing. These skillets are not meant for tossing and flipping, however. If you want to do that, you should get the regular skillets instead.I have had my pans for around a year (some less, some more). They get regular use and I have had absolutely no problems with the coating either peeling/flaking or not working. They work just as well now as they did when they were new.On thing you do NOT want to do with a good non-stick pan is use a cooking spray in it. I suspect that those who are saying the non-stick coating stopped working may have used one of these products. It's one of the best ways I know of to ruin the pan. Others are overheating or putting in a dishwasher. Just like good knives, these will last much longer if they are hand washed regardless of whether the manufacturer says they can go in a dishwasher.Truly, there is nothing I can think of that would make these pans better than they already are. Highly recommended!

Nice pan - thin handle
I like this pan. Have used a thirteen inch pan for many years but this is the first stainless steel one. It is well built and should last for years. I wish the handle was just a 1/4" wider. It is pretty thin for such a big pan. The nice pull string bag it comes in is kind of an over kill. I was kind of disappointed in Amazon. When the pan arrived the box had torn Christmas wrap/scotch tape on the back and front where it looked like someone received it as a gift and decided to return it. It was clear that it had been use at least once and they did not wash the residue thoroughly from the pan.I thought about sending it back but washed it and it stilled looked new so kept it and it heats evenly and food slides out without sticking.Amazon, you should remove any traces of wrapping paper from items returned to you and you resale as new.

Very nice.
This pan is tops. My wfe had bought a set of All-Clad in all stainless,.. but I wanted one for just eggs. And the non-stick is great for that. I cook my eggs,.. add some cheese,.. and just rinse it in the sink. No wiping. Before I was using some Gastrulux Biotan pans ($300 each). They also had great non-stick,.. but are VERY heavy. While that might make them cook a tiny bit more evenly,.. it also meant they took a long time on the stove to heat up,.. and requires a strong forearm to use, especially if the handle got a bit greasy. These are much lighter, and are far more easy to use. 10 out of 10 from me.

My favorite pan
All-Clad is my favorite pan. Wonderful heat distribution, so good that it's almost impossible to burn anything in it. It's heavy but that's what gives it such good cooking ability. I was at the Paris specialty cook shop Dehillerin and they strongly argued against nonstick pans. They told me that nonstick pans need to be replaced once a year or you start eating the Teflon. They were very disappointed that I wanted to by a nonstick pan, but I really like them. The only drawback to this pan is that I'm afraid that Dehillerin is correct. After about two years of very, very heavy use I do see the Teflon start to go (peeling off if you try to scratch the surface with your fingernail) and the pan needs to be replaced. But up until then the pan is great.

All-Clad designs another Winner!
I upgraded to an Induction stovetop and had to get rid of my old All-Clad MC2 cookware. I wanted to stay with All-Clad and decided on the Stainless steel series because of my experience with All-Clad. I was not disappointed with this pan. It is big enough to cook breakfast (eggs, sausage, bacon) for a family. It is entirely American made (another plus). As well, comes with a beautiful black bag, like a carry case. I always keep the pan in the bag when not in use. Nothing sticks the pan so very little oil is needed (even for over-easy eggs) & clean up is so easy that why use a dishwasher to ruin such a beautiful product? I do want to note that with almost all newer non-stick cookware, it is designed not to be used with high heat. It will damage the non-stick properties. This should not be a deterrent since it heats up fast and evenly with induction that cooking is a snap. If you are used to always cooking on high, stay away from this cookware. Otherwise, highly recommended!

so far, so good
Was so pleased with my bigger All Clad that I bought this one for frying eggs. Have read the other reviews and seen the comments about the coating peeling up and that does concern me. This is not a throw away after a year pan! I think the problem with that lies that the edge is sharp, not curved over like it is on some other pans, including the 9" all clad. The handles are stay cool and the upside down design can be a little uncomfortable if you are lifting a heavy pan of food and carrying it somewhere. But a pot holder to cushion the hand takes care of that easily.

Poor design, worse customer service- well known name and pricey item does not equal quality... very disatistified!
Purchased this pan to replace a heavy bottom NSF non stick fry pan that I had for years. My first impression was this was very lightweight and not all stainless steel. The first time I went to cook with it I noticed all the liquid in the pan ran to the outside, obviously warped. It also did not conduct heat with my flat electric stovetop, so nothing would sear when you tried to fry it. I contacted All-Clad accourding to their warranty, used the return label they sent me, waited nearly a month for a replacement. On my initial phone call was told they would run a test on the returned pan and if there was anything wrong with the replacement they would refund my money. Well sure enough the second pan has the same problem. So I called got the same abrupt customer service woman, who claims they do not give refunds and that there wasn't anything wrong found with the original pan. I asked to speak with a supervisor who after 3 days and a follow up call finally called me back and told me they would not refund my money and that there is supposed to be a bit of a warp to allow for expansion. I asked if it was reasonable that a fry pan is not able to brown meat, he then said he would give me MRP on a different item they would select. I don't want want anything from All-Clad, especially of their choosing. I am out $160 and have a useless pan. Poor design, worse customer service- well known name and pricey item does not equal quality... very disatistified!

Waste of money
I tend to be skeptical with reviews. And, because I own a standard All-Clad pan (12" D3 Skillet) that is definitely 5-star, I felt the non-stick would be equal in quality. Wrong! The 13" non-stick French arrived warped far beyond anything acceptable. It's over 1/4" out. This might be okay on a gas cooktop but not on a glasstop. Additionally, the first batch of eggs were far from what anyone would expect from a non-stick pan. We'll be returning it within the Amazon return window to avoid having to deal directly with All-Clad.

Very disappointing
I am really diaaapointed in this pan. I can only assume that the one I received was defective. It doesn’t sit flat on my gas range. It wobbles like a $10 fry pan. Unfortunately I realized this too late and now I’m stuck with it. Took forever to arrive just to top it off.
