We’ve had these since day one for our now 3-year-old. They work, the adhesive is great! But they do break, right at the plastic lock piece that gets clicked in and out. It keeps happening on the same cabinets, which are our most used cabinets. They will wear overtime with continued use. But we continue to purchase and replace them, as I like them much better than other options out on the market. Also, replacing them is very easy. Just remove the current broken unit with a butter knife. If some smudges stick to your surface get a cloth damp with warm-hot water and wipe, it comes right off. Allow to dry and apply new unit to complete the replacement. Done! I give them 4 stars only due to the fact that we’ve had to replace these numerous times. But I will continue to purchase them if needed, so I guess that says a lot too. I’d recommend, if you are okay knowing you’ll need to have some on back up.

WORKS GREAT NO MORE OPEN CABINETS WITH CONTENTS ON THE FLOOR WHEN TRAVELING

These easily stick on and the very strong adhesive (door paint beware) has a good hold. I would say these work great for little kids but remember that you have used and locked them, a parent can easily break it if opening the door too forcefully. Luckily they come in a big pack so it can be replaced. But it does keep my little kids out of places they shouldn't be.

They blend in well with my black tv stand. And they keep my little guy out of the drawers.

I want to do a commercial for this company because of how great these little guys are! Even my husband can't say enough about how easy they were to put on and are to use. The crazy part is that we're not using them to keep little ones from getting into the cabinets, we were sick to death of our two cats getting in them. We'd hear bang, bang, bang when they were trying and when we didn't, well they would have gotten hair on our towels, scratched and eaten parts of the toilet paper rolls and knocked over kitchen cleaners. I'm sure they'll find something else to get into trouble for, but it won't be getting into the cabinets.

Used these in a travel trailer for keeping fridge and freezer doors closed during transport to prevent food from spilling out and even though these seem a bit on cheap side of material and feel they actually held up fantastic and worked well.

We use these on our double oven. Our kid was climbing the bottom oven and flinging the door open. The swing/swivel is perfect for this application. Very secure sticky pads. Very secure clip when it clips in. We ended up using these on our other cabinet doors as we liked them so much.

I love these. Only down side is that the plastic spring that latches it wears out. The one on my sock drawer and my son’s sock drawer wore out and stopped latching.Every time you latch or unlatch it, the plastic spring inside bends. When you bend plastic enough times it snaps/breaks. That is what happens with these after enough use.You will most likely have one or two break. Just have an extra one or two to replace it. Use a blow dryer to warm up the adhesive so you can remove the broken one and put the new one.I’ve also had the round button/pin come out that holds the latch onto the base. I just pushed it back in. It came out occasionally.

These are easy to install and adhesive binds well to kitchen units but they are fragile and fail easily under.We needed six and have had to use all four spare to replace failed clips and now they are failing to.At best they seem to last a month or so.

These are great for cabinets with great adhesion and very easy to install

Okay.. so I’m practically a dang expert on these child proofing locks. If I told you how much I’ve spent on child locks in the last month alone you’d probably throw up.And I’m about to throw in the towel on it all.Now that I’ve had a chance to vent (sorry..), I’ll let ya know what I think.Overall, not terrible, but if your toddler gets frustrated and decides to pull the handles of the cupboard with all their might- chances are the actual locking piece/button is going to fly off. That’s what happened to us anyways.My toddler is a pandemic baby (enough said), and has figured out every kind of lock I’ve put on so far. This one was a bit harder for her to navigate simply because you have to press fairly firmly on the unlock lever to get it to release.In a fit of rage for not figuring it out in her standard .3 seconds, she started pulling on it, leaned back and the button part of it snapped off and shot to my dogs forehead. Just in case you were worried, he’s fine, just had a real stunned look on his face and felt a bit butt hurt. Nothing some extra treats and belly scratches couldn’t fix.I use this lock on the fridge only now, seems to be doing the trick cause she can’t reach it and due to the way the door moves it’s not as easy to break.So, overall they aren’t the worst we’ve bought but definitely not the best.

Unfortunately, one week after having them installed in my kitchen, my 16 month old grand-baby figured out how to get it open! She is either brilliant, or this lock is flawed. Just to be sure this wasn’t a one time incident, I put her in front of the lock once again, and she was able to open it within seconds.I am so disappointed as these we really easy to use, Needless to say, I removed them all and chose another type of locking mechanism. Removal of the 3M sticker was somewhat long, but it didn’t damage the kitchen cabinets at all.SVP LIRE ATTENTIVEMENT. J’ai acheté ces serrures pour protéger ma petite fille de 16 des produits nocifs. Je trouvais cette item génial. Malheureusement, une semaine après les avoir installés, ma petite-fille a réussi à les ouvrir! J’en croyais pas mes yeux, je l’ai donc remis devant la serrure pour m’assurer que ce n’était juste une occasion isolée. En quelques secondes elle a réussi à l’ouvrir à nouveau. Elle est soit brillante, ou c’est un défaut de conception. Évidement, j’ai retirer les barrures et choisi autre chose. Les collants 3M se sont enlevés assez facilement et sans endommager mes armoires de cuisine.
