Sangean TB-100 (Toughbox) AM/FM/AUX-in Ultra Rugged Digital Tuning Rechargeable Radio (Green) (Renewed)

I bought this Factory Re_Furbished. It came packed in Original Box with instruction book and Warranty Card. The Radio Looked Like Brand New No scratches or Mark's. The Power Cord is Heavy Duty and LONG. I didn't Screw the Enclosced Attena in and Was able to tune in Every Radio Station (AM/FM) that I get on my Regular table Radio I have in my Garage. Reception is outstanding! The battery Compartment is Super Secure it opens and close with a Large Handle screw, the Hinge is like a Regular Door Hinge on a house door making the Compartment Very Secure and Sealed. The Radio (even w/o. Batteries)was Heavier than Expected which is a good thing. Plenty of ways to attach it to a quad or riding mower. The Sound and Tone are Rich and Deep. Plenty Loud enough. If you want a High Quality Shop or Out Door radio this is the Best Choice.

We purchased this as a gift for our son who is a UPS driver. We also purchased rechargeable batteries. Is has great sound, volume control, holds a charge for 2 - 12 hour shifts before needing to be recharged. He loved it. It was the best gift!

nice radio...as described. but the speaker is very poor. if you want a radio that has good sound....look elsewhere.sounds good at low level, but , quickly distorts as you turn it up. want a quiet campfire radio? its good.

Works great, take it to construction jobs without a problem

worked great untill it got rained on. no adjustment on bass/treble. so you get alot of distortion if turning-up louder. it is a rugged made radio though.

Not the greatest reception, antenna could be better, too much base and treble, no mid range.
