Whitmor Extra-Wide Clothes Closet, 60” with, White Cover

Bought to downsize clothes that were in storage. Very easy to assemble and loved the size and quality. I packed too much into them, beyond the recommended weight limit by the company, and eventually the middle brackets started to break (my fault); called Customer Service for replacement parts and must give kudos to Colleen at Whitmore who assisted and immediately sent replacement parts for me. This was a no hassle customer service experience that was very much appreciated!!

I like this free-standing clothes closet. It’s the perfect size and height for storing my dresses and coats. Assembly was easy, it feels sturdy, and it keeps dust away. A great, inexpensive solution for clothes storage!

I am very disappointed with this product and believe it was a waste of money and time. I have successfully put together a variety of products over the years, and this clothes closet "appeared" to be a no brainer. Oops! That assumption was wrong! I purchased the largest size closet. The instructions say that assembly is a two person job. It is. Do not try to put it together by yourself. The entire support frame, including the female assembly brackets, are made of cheap plastic which crack easily. The instructions were vague, although there was a very pleasant note asking you to call the company (not Amazon) if you needed assistance during assembly. After a frustrating 45 minutes, I was more than happy to called the 800 number. The office was closed. They are not open on weekends. :( I will give the company points on the improved fabric cover. An earlier review complained that the fabric tore easily. With this in mind, I was careful but the fabric seemed reasonably sturdy for something I would open and closed only a couple times a year. My husband and I managed to correctly put the closet together on our second attempt. The frame still seemed wobbly and rather insubstantial, but I began putting my summer clothes in it. Spacing the clothes out on the bar to prevent undue imbalance and strain, I had filled approximately 30% of the closet when the frame began to give out and corner brackets began to crack. Two days later, in disgust, I disassembled the closet. It has been folded up shoved beneath my armoire. It will remain there until I come to terms with the amount of money & time wasted, and I can bring myself throw the whole thing in the trash. Hmmm... It is pretty sturdy and reliable if you don't overload it or put in super heavy items. I have two now in the garage. One for seasonal switch over. One for costumes, coats and misc. You can also store a moderate amount of accessories on the bottom. Set up took 20 minutes for one person. Once loaded they really don't like to be moved FYI. A solid storage solution!

This portable, zip closet i've been using for almost 2 months has been a great experience. I have the Blue version. First off, i'd like to say how excellent the packaging was. The box itself was in excellent condition and the parts were neatly packaged inside. I initially bought this because i had a drawer in my open built-in closet in my room, and i wanted to put this portable closet elsewhere in my room, but then my room became super crowded so, i decided to remove my drawer from my built-in closet and place my portable closet in my built-in closet. I know that sounds kind of weird, but currently, my built-in closet has no door and i don't want to leave my clothes hanging out in the open. This portable closet is the perfect solution as it not only covers my clothes, but i can also arrange it if i have to. With my measurements, the closet measured to be, 63.5"x19.2"x35.2" The installation process was super easy. It took me about 30 minutes to install the closet. It would have taken me much less if i had inserted the closet sleeve at the right step (lol)---other than that, it was very simple. Plus, the instruction manual was nicely presented. Once the closet was installed, i was honestly surprised with the weight of it, I know the frame and sleeve is pretty light and i had no clothes in it, but i was still amazed with how easy it was to move the closet around. Right now, i have 41 active hangers stored in my closet and i still have plenty of space left for more. Most of it consist of standard t-shirts, a few jackets and a couple hoodies. The rest are a little of dress pants and dress shirts. Underneath my clothes, i have enough space to store my small laundry basket and laundry bag. I don't have a lot of long clothes. The longest clothing i have is a jacket that hangs about 15" from the rod. With that, i have no problems with it touching my laundry basket that sits underneath. I store miscellaneous items on top of this closet. The closet is sturdy enough for my items not to sink down too deep. The quality of this closet is amazing. The zippers (2) flow through really good. It feels smooth when zipping/unzipping and it doesn't get jammed. The window on the top that is a material of a mixture of plastic + rubber is great. It is not 100% transparent which is good for privacy. The sleeve of the closet holds up pretty well. I don't have any damages yet. Like i mention before, i have items laying on top of the closet, and it still keeps its quality. PROS: - Sturdy - Light (easy to move) - Can fit about 50 hangers - Has a lot of storage after clothes are stored - Quality is excellent CONS: - None I am glad that i decided to purchase this item. Since my built-in closet had no door, i was forced to have my clothes out in the open. That allowed my clothes to get dirty easy and smell more. Also, it made my room look messy. Now with this closet, I can finally store my clothes properly and have it protected. Even this is considered more of a smaller closet, I was satisfied with the quality and the portability. If you're a person who does a lot of different arrangements, or is constantly switching rooms, this closet is a good companion to your clothes. For a compact portable closet, this has been beyond my expectations.

Protects your blazers and shirts from dust. Do not expect to be heavy usage. Can hold 15 to 20 shirts. Bought it at INR 2249, may be slightly expensive. But it helps you free up your regular closet.

I know closet space in my house this was the perfect closet to put away my clothes fits a lot very sturdy and the fact that you can keep it from getting nothing makes it a bonus I would highly recommend this product assembling very easy

2 months have passed and no problems or anything. Got 20+ clothes hanging there too! Mom loves it
