Getting Started (Acrylic Made Easy)

Recommend by my instructor. Very helpful for new painter.

Helpful booklet. It’s not overwhelming like some of the other books out there. This starts with the much needed basics. I skipped the beginning basics long ago and now back - I would have been better off knowing the basics than not! My art had suffered but now we got it together.

Very informative text and good quality photos - especially the color charts and painting examples.

It's short, but in conjunction with Learn Acrylics with Fifty Small Paintings, is well worth it.

This is a very good, first book on acrylic painting.The author, Patti, covers all the basic topics, and she does it in an engaging, conversational tone with lots and lots of examples and illustrations.One of the best basic painting books out there.

Love this book and a good complement to Patti Mollica’s book on painting “fast, loose and bold”

I gave it away as a present instead of keeping it. Great for beginners to see progress pics but it was more of a booklet

This book is Great for beginners.Goes threw materials and supplies that you need if you don't already have.It shows you technique.Plus it has activities that take you threw step by step.
