These screws are comparable to the best screws I normally buy. They have clipped points with a cutting slit that easily starts in the wood. Coarse thread, a ribbed upper shank to prevent jacking and a ribbed bugle head underside that assists the recess at fastening. Torx/star drive for best grip. I used them to fasten glued laminated 2x4's together. 4" was perfect and and when the glue lams were set and cut to size, I was able to remove the extra screws for reuse. The appeared as-new. I would definitely buy these again.
