They are fairly malleable, meaning they've good elongation to break, not brittle. I used them on a fairly new builds gutter and the end stretches open well and almost snaps into place. The other end is fine for the lights too. Maybe a bit tight as I felt like I was pulling the lights pretty hard go get in. But at least they're secure. Overall, lots of clips. No breaks fitting two bay windows.
