Ordered this shirt in black. After reading some of the reviews I went with a size smaller then I normaly wear. The advise was right, the shirt fit perfectly. As to the botton issues people mention, as I have only received the shirt and haven't washed it yet I really can not answer on that. However, on putting on the shirt the buttons felt a little loose and I'll probably reinforce them with heavier thread.Overall, I am happy with this shirt.

I Got The Black one Size Large....I Am 6'2' 195lb...And long Arms Slender Build...Perhaps the XL Large For a Tad More Room...But All in all Very nice Shirt....Only Draw back Is The Said buttons...Are Not Secure at All...So I reinforced...The buttons myself....Today Takes about 20 min....Or You Can Take it to your Cleaners..As well.I strongly Urge..You. To Do this before you were the Shirt..Because these Buttons will come off Easy...And if you purchased..the black One.as i did Donot wash it...Take it to your dry cleaners...Have It Dry Clean instead. The Color...Will be Preserved and it will look Good..Canvas like Material.....You Donot want to Put And Iron On This Trust...Me..Guys...C.S.T. Chicago....

I love my Scully shirts and I own several of them. It's always the highest quality, but this disappoints. My wife ordered this shirt for me and the first one arrived promptly with a torn collar. Scully took the return and promptly gave us credit. My wife knowing I wanted the shirt ordered another but because I had recently lost 60 lbs she ordered one that was a little large. Once again Scully gracefully accepted the return. Once again she ordered another. This one arrived opened, sleeves rolled up, and it was obvious it had been worn. One of the buttons on the front of the shirt had detached and was in the packaging. My wife says she will wash and sew the button back on so we won't have to return it. As I said I love Scully shirts and have never had an issue before so it pains me to leave this review. This is the first time I have bought a Scully site unseen on Amazon so I wonder if this is a factory outlet store. The only reason they got two stars and not one is they did accept the returns with no hassle.

I like the shirt for a costume, the material doesn't feel that great. In addition, the buttons were basically on the verge of falling off when I got it.

The quality is great but it's like a pullover, the lapel is like a bib that buttons up on both sides. The shirts button are verry small so how can an elderly man with arthritis button them? My husband has issues putting a t-shirt on. How is he supposed to pull this, long sleeved shirt? He's an old cowboy and he says they aren't supposed to be over the head and the lapel has to fold in front and button up on the side with snaps. Me I like the quality but having all those big buttons over the front of the shirt even once the lapel is completely removed looks tacky. I like the cuffs because they are wide and makes the pulling of the arms out of the shirt easier. In all, not for disabled elderly cowboys. Sade, very sade.
