Eyes in Gaza

Not only a good book, with lots of photos, this is an important humanitarian and political document. These courageous doctors, and their courageous Gazan colleagues, and NORWAC, and Norway, are true heros. Mads and Erik are the witnesses that the world needs to listen to, as they describe the real situation in Gaza under Israeli occupation and during one of the shocking attacks on civilians in Gaza. These doctors, and my journalist heros (Ayman Mohyeldin and Sherine Tadros in their documentary “The War Around Us” about the same 2009 attacks) speak truth to propaganda. We should listen and react and help.

This is the best, most factual and enlightening book I have ever read about the "situation" in Gaza. I recommend it to all, especially to those in positions of authority in the U.S., Israel and the rest of the world.

brilliant and honest book by the legend that is Mags Gilbert. Really informative and not academically written so in that respect it is an easy read but because of the subject it is a sad read. See also his book Night in Gaza, which is based in 2014, where as this book eyes in Gaza is from 2008. Both are amazing books and I fully recommend them both.

Absolutely worth a read. Horrific experience for the people of Gaza, I couldn't stop crying. The world should know about the shameful and inhuman atrocities committed by the state of Israel in the name of their defence. The truth is far from it. The authors are real heroes, hats off to them!

Amazing read! Gives first-hand knowledge and reflects the experience of the situation in Gaza today. Very well documented by the dear Dr. Mads Gilbert and his colleague Erik Fosse. Brilliant!
