I could control my soundbar from upstairs. And the signal is very strong with nice sound quality. This tiny one is very easy to set up. I have very happy that it turns my sound bar to a Bluetooth one. No worries about any messy cables. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Not solid on more than one stream *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2019* As a preface to this review I wish to be clear that the manual says it works best when the two devices you are broadcasting to are the same headphone or cellphone, etc. Nonetheless, this is not going to be practical for most users, so my review reflects a more real-world scenario of using different BT devices. So here goes... I was able to get this to pair with the Amazon Basics BT receiver connected to my stereo via the RCA output jacks just fine. So the connection to the stereo is good and audio is clear and low noise (BT stream channel 1). However, when I attempted to add the Gabba Goods Atmospheric Flaming Tiki Speakers as the second receiving device (BT stream channel 2) the audio clicks, sputters and mostly disconnects. The longest I had them all up and operating was perhaps for just one song from my mp3 player and the delay was about 1 second between the stereo's playback and the tiki light playback. The latency I can deal with, it's understandable for two BT streams on one device, but the puttering, clicking and random disconnecting makes this unit impossible to use with my equipment. It's very unlikely that you're going to have identical devices. I later used this with the Amazon Basics BT output and split it to both the stereo amp and the transmitter and then connected the BT tiki lamps to one stream from this transmitter wcih worked fine as an alternate scheme. After my first review complaining about the issue, the seller graciously offered to send me another unit to try, which netted the same results. When I tested this unit, the BT devices used for the test were the only ones turned on at the time. No other BT devices in the house were active at the time. After extensive testing and observing the behavior of the various devices involved, I'm convinced the Gabba Goods tiki lamp speakers have a streaming incompatibility when paired with another device, because my Amazon BT receiver stays connected even when the tiki speakers fail. I can't blame the Golvery for this, it's just that not all BT devices play well together. The industry needs to standardize this behavior so multi-streaming to differing devices is normal, not an exception. So when you buy this transceiver, just be aware that you might run into this scenario when trying to do complex bluetooth splits. The seller here on Amazon was very understanding and helpful and they promised to relay my testing information back to the manufacturer. I hope that my tests will help improve this product and others like it in the future. Otherwise I can happily report the unit sounds good and isn't noisy. It has a nice, clean hi-fi stream. The audio quality of the Golvery is very good when ran through my living room power amplifier on big speakers. I was able to transmit my mp3 player audio from one end of the house to the other (about 80 feet) with no drop outs or noise. I think it will work fine when sending audio to outside BT speakers far from your stereo system. It's a convenient way to get an audio signal to your patio without having to run a lot of wires. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Extend your sound *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2019* I bought this for connecting headphones at night so not to disturb my wife in bed. The signal is strong enough to keep my headphones connected through the entire house. Excellent device. No experience in sound lag. Continued volume stream comfortably up to 20-30 feet away.
