Worked on my 91 Mzda Miata
Bought this hub adapter along with an extension, and not the quick release because I don't necessarily need that function.To install this without destroying your clockspring, I removed the backside gold grounding wheel (?) that contained the grounding wire for the horn button. This lets you keep the clockspring and all the annoying hassle with the horn wire. Cut the 3 wire plug, and spliced the horn wire longer to reach the new aftermarket horn button. Soldered a wire onto the horn button ground and connected it to the extended factory horn wire. Working horn button!

Worked on my 86 B2000
I had to sand the plastic collar/cover a little on the strewing column so it wouldn't rub, but other than that, it fit spot on.

Good piece horn may not work properly.
I have two of these now. One in my Miata and one in my rx7 I do like them. I like that they have a lower profile design than most. However I have not been able to get the horn to work in either one of them so keep that in mind when you are purchasing one that you may struggle with that. Also the bolts provided like to back out over time and use I’d recommend putting a low strength loctite just to help keep them from backing out.Overall the construction quality is excellent nice machines aluminum finish and painted well and durable.
