Little Boost Platform 3 inch Recliner Riser and Chair Lift Platform. Makes Standing and Getting Out of Your Recliner Easier.

I bought this for my 88 year old dad who has trouble getting out of his old Lazy Boy recliner rocker. It's an older chair, and by the time my dad slides to the front to get up out of the chair, it's only about 12" off the ground and he has trouble standing up. I bought this "Little Boost Platform" and just installed it under his chair tonight. It's so awesome! It boosts the chair up to the perfect height, and prevents the chair from going forward too much when he slides to the front. It still rocks perfect and it's much easier for him to get out of. It's on the carpet and the boost does not slide on the carpet and the chair does not slide on the boost. It has rubber corners where the chair legs sit on that keeps it very stable. I wasn't sure if it would work for a recliner, but it's perfect. I actually bought it to put a swivel rocker with a round base on, which we eventually will do, but for now, it's perfect for the rocker recliner too.

Solved a big problem for this old lady. Rising from chair was very difficult and big struggle. This gave me the additional height to make the transition from sitting to standing a smooth transition. Still in great shape and use since march 2021.

The platform fit my recliner perfectly. I thought I would have more extra space than I did. So, measure as instructed very carefully.I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars only because I really need 4 inches height instead of the 3 this one is. I still have some difficulty getting up but much less than without it. The platform is very sturdy. Read instructions first! Regarding hardwood floors especially. I put half inch felt for furniture around the bottom lip of the platform because I want to be able to move it rather that have it fixed with the type of underpad recommended.

A month shy of 82 yrs old and I had no difficulty placing the Little Boost Platform under my recliner. I just tilted the chair forward, placed the platform in position, and tilted the chair back down. I considered other options such as a lift chair or a cushion, but decided this was the best option for me. It raises my chair to just the right height making it easy for me to stand up. The platform is sturdy and the non-skid areas where the chair sits also makes it safe. I highly recommend it.

My dad fractured his pelvis so getting out of his recliner was a struggle. This platform has made a huge difference in his mobility getting out of the chair. The recliner fits perfectly on top. The feet sit on a rough textured area of the platform. The platform also has a bit of a lip so the legs can't slide off the edge. We have the platform on a rug so there is no slipping around. Excellent product and solution!

That extra few inches makes getting into and out of my recliner so much easier. It is fully stable and does not slip at all on carpet.

I am disabled and need a lift chair, so when it became difficult for me to get out of my lift chair, I noticed that I needed more height to be able to stand and hold on to my walker. Did a lot of research for a "furniture riser", or similar product that would satisfy my need. I found the "little boost platform" and although it seemed a little "pricey" I decided that this is what I needed. This does exactly what I needed it to, to give my lift chair more height so that now it is really easy, with no problems, to get out of my chair. Works well with a lift chair, and I especially appreciate that the little boost platform has raised edges so that the chair stays on the platform. Received it when indicated by Amazon. I really recommend this for those of us who have difficulty getting out of chairs.

Big enough but not oversized, back lip fits great against the wall and front lip is not underfoot. Very stable, no scary slipping around. Handsome glossy black finish, just enough height. Have two Laz-Y-Boy recliners and my sister was able to maneuver these under them by herself. Have had both knees and both hips replaced, and these have made all the difference to me in saving painful wear on all my joints. Give this a try!
