This is the best belt to buy for the GY6 Scooters. I've tried a lot of belts but this one blows the others away. If you put this on your scooter and it shreds or breaks quickly then you might need a new clutch. If the clutch isn't opening and closing properly then the belt will definately shred quickly. I know cause I experienced this problem and learned that the welding inside my clutch had broke and was causing the clutch to not work properly. I've had this belt on my 2019 Bintelli Spark 50cc for over a year now without any problems. It increased my acceleration and my top speed. I thought the power increase would go away after breaking the belt in but nope that's not what happened. The power increase didn't go away at all. I checked the belt last month and it still looks brand new and it's still giving my scooter a better performance overall. I won't ever buy any other belt again other than this Gates PowerLink belt. I just purchased one for my other Scooter which is a 2021 Wolf RX-50 50cc. I highly recommend this belt!!!

Buy the cheap belt and you get what you pay for. This Gates belt made a noticeable difference right away. I have a big bore kit, 100cc, and was tearing thru less expensive belts. After I replaced the rear clutch and put this belt on, I haven't had an issue. It rides better and shifts really smoothly. I have already ordered another one to keep under the seat. Buy this belt and save yourself some aggravation!

I have used gates belts for years and they are the best belts this belt is cheap and the teeth literally fly off and the belts shreds to pieces I’ve been through 2 belts checked alignment and adjustment threw another spare belt I had on and no issues for 4 days so not buy and get ripped off like I did now I’m stuck with 2 belts I’ve bought and can’t return because they are in pieces somewhere
