I did, but I was going from Virgin Mobile to Virgin Mobile (it went very smoothly, didn't have to talk to anybody either-all done on the net and LG phone). At the end downloaded a LG app to my older Samsung and this LG phone, and everything from my Samsung was ported to this phone. Easy as all out.
