Very handy especially if you are traveling

The adhesive is strong and permanent and the runner puts out a good amount of adhesive but occasionally the runner mechanism sticks so no adhesive comes out. It is easily remedied by manually rolling the front roller with my finger until the adhesive was on the roller again. My best advice is to run it as flat as you can because the more you tilt the runner, the more chance you have of the adhesive skipping.
