It's my first bass, and being the Beatles fan that i am, I thought it would be cool to get a replica of a Hofner bass that Sir Paul McCartney uses. There's a couple differences between this bass and the real deal. But that's pretty much standard with any replica. For the price, I really can't complain. the finish looks nice, and very shiny. I also got a Fender Rumble 15 bass amp for it and that sounds great! It gives a nice deep bass sound that any guitar should have. The only thing is that the connector jack that you plug the cord into is a little loose, but that's a very minor issue. So if you're looking for a stylish, good sounding bass, and not looking to pay much, this is definitely a great choice.
