Monterey Fish & Guano Liquid Plant Fertilizer for Transplants and Flowers, Quart Concentrate

It stinks but I figured it would so I wasn’t too surprised. My plants LOVE this fertilizer though. I stole one of my children’s medicine measuring cups to measure it out in proportion to my watering can. I pour the proper amount in, add water, and water the plants I want to add the fertilizer to about once per month. My Hippo Rose Polka Dot Plant that I keep in a container had suggested using a liquid fertilizer and I decided with the heat and humidity here I keep putting off applying granular to some of my flowers. It’s made them take off and a flowering plant that wasn’t flowering finally started putting off blooms. I use this especially on my outdoor echinacea, day lilies, impatiens, hippo polka dot plant, and indoor plants (snake plant, pothos, spider plant, an unknown succulent, etc). Every plant it’s touched has had tremendous growth since I started using it, even more than when I use other fertilizers. I’m glad I bought it. It will last me a while but I’ll for sure repurchase when I’m out!

I have been using this for years on the roses and it is my go-to fertilizer. There is a bit of a smell that quickly dissipates but you would expect that with its ingredients.

I have not had a chance to run a side by side comparison to see how good this is , and I wont. Not worth my time. I mix it with liquid humic acid and liquid sea kelp. Growing organically. Its worth the 20 bucks . I add a cap to every five gallons and use it once a week at that rate.

I’m not an expert but this stuff just makes stuff grow! Easy to use but try to use anything you’ve added to water. Once you’ve diluted it with water, it will stink if you let it sit. Just make sure to use everything that you’ve mixed. I’m not sure why some reviewers say it smells terrible because it’s not that bad. It doesn’t smell like the bathroom after your uncle takes a huge dump or anything bad like that.

Organic fertilizer for edible crops

This is by far the best fertilizer I’ve ever used. I combine this with kelp extract and my fruit trees and hibiscus go absolute nuts. I’ve never seen this kind of growth before.

I've been using this fertilizer for a while and honestly I don't see any improvements or growth. I gave this fertilizer a shot after I ran out of miracle grow. I thought it would be better for my plants but honestly I haven't seen any difference. Given what it's made out of it definitely smells! If you're sensitive to odors this might not be something you want to deal with.
