Go Power! TS-50 50 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch

I purchased the TS-50 19 months ago. While doing some annual maintenance on my RV, I realized that the Automatic transfer switch was not functioning. I called Go Power and left a message. The representative got back to me very quickly. He had me test the relay while on the phone. It failed. He said that as soon as I could show the proof of purchase, Go Power would send a new unit. The only thing he wanted me to do beyond that was to dispose of the old unit in a responsible manner. Very pleased.

Seems like it was good quality. I ended up returning it because my system did not require it.

I ordered two of these for my setup in my RV. Second one had a bad relay and constantly had a loud buzzing coming from it. Had to order a third one since i was headed out in a trip and returned the bad one. All good now.

I am using this switcher in an off grid application to switch between solar and generator. I can have the TV on when switching either way, and it is so fast the TV stays on. Very, very happy with this switcher.

Works as expected but has a humming noise with either side energized.

I purchased this unit for my toyhauler. I installed a solar system and a 2000watt inverter to go along with it. The unit was installed after the ATS for my onboard generator and shore power. Works exactly as it should.The directions that were supplied with the unit were not very well written and actually used different terminology then what was written on the unit itself. But a little research and a little playing around and I was able to get it all hooked up.I am happy with the product and would buy it again if needed.

No issues so far. Does what it supposed to do.

once in awhile it jumps back and forth between breakers, no fault of the product my co rd from generator had a issue with the ground. bought a new 30 amp t o 50 amp cable connector and everything is fine.

All good, but it is missing some documentation with regards to the terminal rated temperature 60 or 75 as this will have an impact on the size of wire to use. For example a 50 Amp with 75 temperature rating can use 8 awg cu conductor; since it has no indication on the terminal rated temperature, terminal is rated 60 which means size of cu conductor to use is 6awg instead.

This transfer switch is perfect, works great easy to install too, excellent product.

I was disappointed that the receiver connection for the ground wire was so small, my ground wire is the same size as the hot wires. Install was replacement on my 2003 Newmar Dutch Star
