I did not expect this iron to be this good. It is very lightweight, a little small, but works wonderfully. Steam is great. Automatic shut off is very useful. It's inexpensive. Great iron. Before this one, I had a $100 shark brand iron, and I don't think I would buy it again once I've tried this one.

This particular model was difficult to find on other websites. I needed to replace an iron I accidentally cracked at a client's house, so I searched for a similar brand. After looking online, I found this one on Amazon. It arrived within two days, and I was pleased with the prompt delivery. I'm glad I could replace my client's iron, and it's in excellent working condition.

I had a Proctor Silex iron that lasted me 33 years-yes, I said 33 years! I decided to stick with the brand for my 2nd iron purchase. I've used this iron a few times and I am very happy with the steam feature-it provides a generous burst of steam if you are ironing or using it as a steamer. It is light weight and the water receptacle works/holds fine. Some people mentioned that it leaked but the stopper on the handle must have been redesigned because it is no longer hard plastic but a rubber like material. I also like that it is smaller to get into intricate areas such as cuffs or pleats. I think a smaller ion is much easier to use when ironing women's blouses or children's clothes. The only reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars is because I wish it was made to have a higher wattage instead of just 1200. Because it is light weight, I feel like it could be a little hotter when ironing thick cotton or linen. Hoping this one lasts 33 years.

Works well.However, I left it flat on a surface while not on for a period of time and all the water leaked out.

Light weight, steams and irons. For the price you can’t go wrong. I prefer ironing but tried the vertical steamer on drapes. Perfect!

I read reviews and look at star ratings on a product/item before making my final decision to buy. This has some good and some really hard negative reviews, I bought it anyway. This iron works good for steaming clothes for the first 5-10 minutes, after that it leaks water all the time. I cannot afford to dry clean my work clothes, so I launder them at home and iron them, along with my kids school uniforms. This iron is a real piece of junk. I tried everything suggested in the instruction booklet that came with it but - NOTHING WORKS TO STOP IT FROM LEAKING.DO NOT BUY THIS IRON. If you use it sparingly for short periods of time without water or the steam function, then it may work for you. If you use steam like I do to get clothes really smooth faster and not damage them from the heat of the iron, then do not buy this iron, you will be seriously disappointed.

When this was purchased I could have sworn I read somewhere in the description that it turns off after 30s laying down flat. Tested it just in case (as it’s going into a rental property) and this did not happen. It started smoking at 3.5min laying flat as it burned a hole through a junk towel. Safety and constant monitoring was taken in testing this. Glad I tested this as it did not auto turn off when laying flat. Maybe it would have after an hour though I didn’t want to take that risk. If you are looking for safety I suggest a different iron.

Iron continually leaks water.
