RamblewoodGreen 2 Burner Induction Cooktop, ICQ2-31C1

Ordered this hob Oct. 25, 2015. Last week (May 2017) the rear hob began giving an error and will not function with the same pans I have been using since the start. Now, the front hob is giving an error signal intermittently during cooking. The unit has performed well up until these failures, but 18 months is a short life for a double induction hob that cost me over $400.00. I did not even get 18 months of use, because it took over a month to have the electrical outlet installed.Please note the update to this review

This is exactly what I was looking for to use as a secondary cooktop in our kitchen renovation project. There are very few choices for a Double Burner Induction Drop-In Cooktop. I was very hesitant to order this based on the fact that there was only one review on Amazon. I am very satisfied with this item. It works very well. Unfortunately the two burners are very close together, so using both burners at the same time is limited to two small pots. But when using one sauté pan or one large pot, it works great. Another disadvantage - as my daughter says "That thing beeps a lot!" It beeps loudly every time you push a button. It beeps when the unit is on and you remove the pan from the burner. Also, the fan is a bit loud. But as you can see, I gave it 4 stars. I really enjoy cooking with this unit.

We just installed this product and one of the burners does not work. It says I cannot return the product now because I purchased it in May.

No tumperture control setting . only numbers , also it will not simer on low.for the price ,it should have true temp control...

I purchased this for my small basement kitchen. It works great. It's amazing how fast it will heat things up.

We installed it into a black granite counter top flush with the counter, so the counter top hides the HOB. The only "con" is I wish the power went from 1-10 instead of 1-8 which may give a better "low" heat.
