Great alternative to pricey units. - I really wanted a cheaper alternative to the more expensive units. I purchased the 110v/3hp, running a 3 phase 2.2kw 2.01 hp motor with 110v input from a standard wall plug. I took a chance on this due to some good reviews. I installed the VFD on a small lathe and I have to say that it performs very well. The manual should be rewritten by a technical writer because if someone doesn’t have any experience with VFD’s it could be challenging to setup. In this case it was a fairly simple project and the Huanyang VFD was a great alternative. The one thing that really took me by surprise is the responsiveness of their technical support and shipping time. Tech support answered questions within a few hours and shipping was 5 days! I can’t get service like that from the joint down the road that gouges me every time I walk in the door or call. Since it’s been installed I’ve really run it hard. So far so good! I’m happy all around with this unit and will be buying more. Review: Get a motor guy familiar with VFD programming - Love this unit!
