Mapei Keracaulk U Unsanded Caulk (Mocha) - 10.5-oz

This caulk perfectly matches its corresponding colored grout. And I mean perfect

caulk between tie and fiberglas shower. Flexing resulted in grout cracking. color match is not exact but acceptable

Very expensive caulk. Was so dried out it blew out of the bottom of the tube - all over the caulk gun and job. Lost lots of time over clean up. Wish seller had checked on how old the tube was before shipping!

A friend and I have had a similar problem over the past couple of years with Keracaulk U (unsanded) caulk on two separate tubs in two separate homes. The problem is, even with cure times of over a week, in a dry environment, the caulk on our tubs, in the vicinity of occasional water splashes turns to (essentially) melted chocolate behind a very thin cured layer of caulk.After removing the thin layer of cured caulk, and the liquified colored material beneath it, there are areas of what appear to be thick, transparent liquid, the consistency of thick snot (which is what the liquid appears to be, as well) that are the last materials remaining in the caulked area. It seems like the caulk slowly absorbs moisture from the outside of the cured layer. The cured layer drys, but the moisture inside the cured layer slowly breaks down the caulk... I've had the caulk fail twice in the last couple of years. I have checked and determined that there are no leaks behind the shower tiles that would put moisture into the caulk from behind the tile.I'll be using a similarly colored 100% silicon caulk product now, to seal the area between the tub and tiles...
