I had bought similar lens covers in a store and wanted more for my cell phone; the ones in the store were great to try but seemed overpriced. The problem is that the part that sliding part tends to fall off if it's not protected (true of all brands I've tried, not a fault with this brand). It's possible to pop the slider out of a new one and just replace that part if the frame is good. I think of the slider as needing frequent replacement, and so I wanted inexpensive spares. The adhesive on the frame part slipped a bit after I stuck it on, but not badly. This type of thin plastic cover is not a top-of-the-line quality, but this brand is fine within the class of product. It did not fit on the rear-facing camera of my cell phone, but I expected that. (The surface right around the lens has to be flat.) I put one on my laptop, too, and it's thin enough that it doesn't interfere with closing. The lens cover is protected when the laptop is closed, so I don't expect to replace it very often. However, it's on a black part of the screen, so it's hard to see whether the camera is exposed or covered. I slid the cover open and used metallic marker to outline the front of the frame on that side. (I had to clean off the edge a bit, which shows.) If I were doing it again, I'd use marker first, before mounting, coloring carefully just the front part that will be covered by the slide, then letting it dry completely before mounting. I'm very happy with this solution.

I originally had a sticker over my web cam because creepy stalker vibes and all. Since it is my workplace computer, I thought something more professional should be added. I found these and thought a couple bucks was a good deal and gave them a try. I got them in today, prepped the screen and realized that a microfiber cloth was included behind the package in the bag (super thoughtful, thank you!) so i was able to prep the screen and add the adhesive cover. The adhesive is very strong and should last a long time. I recommend turning on your camera while installing to ensure the cover does not obstruct its view (I had to do a second application because of it). But once it was on correctly, it works great! They are super small (about the width of a pen) and indiscrete. I'm glad I bought these.

These worked well on my laptop! Great for peace of mind so I knew my camera could only see things when I was actively using it. Maybe I watch too many crime shows, but I'd rather be safe than sorry if something were to hack into my camera lol. They are a bit flimsy and can break easily, but for the price, they work well enough, and stick fine as long as you don't move them around too much.

I purchased a webcam cover and am very pleased with it!! The installation was incredibly easy – it simply slides over the webcam lens. It's a huge plus because I didn't have to deal with any sticky adhesives or complicated instructions. Just make sure that you know where you are placing it because once it sticks, it will stay there. The cover itself is sleek and blends seamlessly with my laptop's design. It provides me with peace of mind knowing that I can easily slide it open or closed whenever I need to use my laptop's camera. Great purchase for a sense of security on my device :)

I noticed some other people complained about these covers popping off their devices, but I can't say I've had that issue. I've had a cover on my Samsung Galaxy S7 for about six months and it seems to be just as secure and stuck-on as the first day. A relevant point may be that my phone has an Otterbox case on it and the camera cover is thin enough that it does not protrude past the edge of my phone case. If you are using your phone without a case, I could see how the camera cover could hit a snag and come off, but in my situation, my phone and the camera cover have survived me pulling my phone in and out of my jean pockets hundreds of times. I also put a cover on my MacBook Air and again, it has stayed on and works great. Generally, the cover stays shut. Once in a while I'll notice it slid out of position, but mostly it has stayed in place and I've been happy with it.

I love the idea, and it's a big improvement for the laptop. It doesn't work as well on iPhones. At $9.00 for 5, it feels overpriced for the quality. Made of two separate pieces ("shutter," oval ring with adhesive). I read and followed instructions. Because the shutter is a separate piece, the first one out of the package took a while to keep together long enough to stick to the phone. The shutter has already fallen out of one of pieces on the wife's phone. I put one on a laptop. I have to be careful when I open and close it, but it works. It's much better than taping a sticky note to the camera. I'll need to apply more adhesive to one on my phone, though the other is mostly okay. Because one slips, I waste a little time adjusting so I can take a picture every time I use the camera. I don't regret buying, but I'd like to find something better.

These work fine. The only issue is to remember to slide the shutter thing back for selfies. Initially, they tended not to stick to the phone's screen for very long. Discovered I was catching them on the phone holster. Made a procedural change (visual check) now the items remain attached for months. Still, it is best to have replacements on hand.

These webcam covers surprisingly has been holding up well. I’ve had it on my laptop for a couple of months now. They are thin and they feel flimsy, but I think that’s to be expected of a product that’s supposed to protect your webcam without interfering with the functioning of your laptop. I haven’t had any issues with it adhering or with it breaking. You do have to be gentle when handling. The slide may come off track but it’s fairly easy to put back together if you are gentle enough and your hands are clean where you don’t mess up the adhesion. It covers my camera well and it doesn’t block with the camera when in use. It slides left and right with ease. I have it on my MacBook Pro laptop and iMac desktop and one on my daughters HP laptop.

Hem iPhone 7 ön kamerasını hem de MacBook kamerasını kullanımı engellemeden kapatıyor. Ürün yurt dışındaki stoktan gönderiliyormuş. Bunu başta fark etmemiştim. Bu nedenle ulaşması vakit aldı. Çok acelesi olmayanlara bu ürünü mutlaka tavsiye ederim.

I've used them on an iMac and a Macbook. They work fine, and most importantly the Macbook closes without any issue with the cover fitted
