Handheld Game Console, Portable Video Game Console 16GB 5 "Screen 2500 Classic Games, Supports Multiple File Formats, or Birthday Gift for Kids – Black

I haven't dug into this "console" too deeply, but here are my impressions...it feels like a light version of a PSP from years ago. The plastic is durable enough, but I feel like a hard drop could possibly be detrimental. I haven't used the main screen of the console....but it offers a lot of amazing things such as the camera (I assume your phone would take better pics) and music player. The games can be a bit of hassle to get to. They have them labeled as 1-200, 201-400, and so on. That said, the games are true to the form that you remember which is why I have to give it four stars despite some of the questions that are left unanswered (which are more of "me" problem). Zelda, Mario, and on and on are on here. Even a very unheard of Mario history time machine game that I remember growing up is on this. The screen is fairly decent (again, given the price). It literally has a game for everyone. For the price, this makes for a very serviceable device to keep the kids entertained while on the road. Worth the purchase.

For the most part, this is a great device! It is loaded to the gills with tons of retro games...NES, PSP, MAME, Videa games, and GBC. This game system can also be used to hold pictures, play videos, and can even take low res pictures. The device is plastic, but it feels solid and an SD card can be added as well to increase the storage on the device. The device comes with a built-in battery that lasts several hours. So far so good.What I didn't like was the amount of time the device took to boot up. It is incredibly slow! Also, this game player would never remember any of the settings for the device or the games. For example, there was annoying beep when you pushed the buttons, that you could disable, but as soon as you turned the gameplayer off, the button beep was reset to on. Also, I could never figure out how to save the progress on the games I played.Overall, for the price, this is a decent retro games player. But, due to the slow load time and lack of any kind of memory, I ended up returning it.

I want to say this is my childhood memories! There were almost all of the games l played when I was a kid. The quality of the game console was good and smooth. It was great!

The item arrived broken with the top triggers not working. Upon further inspection the plastic knobs that seat the left and right triggers had snapped off.

Be careful. One drop and broke. The unit didn't even scuff but the screen no longer shows a picture. My son was sitting on the bed and dropped it on the carpet. He loved it while it worked. I'd rather invest in something that wont break if you bump it

In general, the product is great. The kids love it and fight over it.With it, it is important to know that all the games are old games from the beginning of the 90s.It is all Nintendo and SEGA games we (the parents) used to play as kids.So it's nice to have the kids play those games but it's important to know.Also, there are hundreds of games but no list to find which one you want.Still, recommended

I bought this for my grandson to use when we are traveling by car. It keeps him from using my cell phone to play games on.

I loaded some music and some cartoons I got off Internet Archivemy only beef is there is no easy catalog of the games or any way to change the games on the home screenbut all in all great for doc visits and such
