It seems to work really well picking up dirt and sticky spots off the floor. I have wood floors and cleaning was a breeze. It also comes with a microfiber cleaning cloth which I used to clean the baseboards, and it did really well picking up dirt.A few notes: I didn't really think about this before I started using the mop, but this mop would work best if you have a mop bucket that can squeeze out the water. I have a plain bucket, so I used my hands to wring out the mop (which didn't really bother me since I was using cleaning gloves).ALSO: The mop turned my mop water blue! I rinsed out the mop before I continued using it and a lot of blue dye came out. It got blue dye on my cleaning gloves.
