This belt saved me I got a job working as a 8-hour shift on my feet at a register and when I get home or just driving home my SI joint would hurt so bad I wanted to pull over and scream I bought other belts before they worked somewhat but this one works the best and it stays in place and it's narrow where it ain't bulky I can wear it under my jeans or skirt or whatever I'm wearing without even realizing it's on and it really helps with the pain I'm tired of taking pain medicine I don't want any more injections cuz they don't last if anybody suffers from SI joint pain please get this belt it costs a little more but it's worth it!!!!

This product is, indeed, accurately rated. As someone who has been suffering from an SI joint injury that I could not heal due to constant overextending of the joints, this thing finally helped me hold the joint in place with minimal muscle discomfort which allows healing to finally occur. I am immediately relieved of my loose feeling SI joint pain. It took an adjustment period to figure out where to place it, as I have a pretty severe anterior pelvic tilt. Once I figured out placement, putting it on became faster and easier. I mess around with the support level through the day, but I’m finding that I still need a firm support. Maybe eventually I’ll loosen it, but while I’m recovering the tight tension feels best. Some people in the reviews say they can wear it at night, but I’ve found that I can’t. It is too uncomfortable for me to try to sleep in, personally, so I opt to restrict my movement at night instead to prevent further exacerbation of the injury while I’m asleep. It has worked so far and every morning I wake up with a little less pain. I can see myself wanting to buy a replacement if something ever happened to this one, guaranteed. So I think that means… buy it.

I wanted to use this for a week or two before reviewing. I have had 2 back surgeries in the last 4 years which has cost me some mobility in my spine. This has caused more pressure on my hip joints which has caused very sharp pain anytime I bend over or sit or stand for extended time. I had lost all hope of ever feeling good again but decided to order this belt. The second I put it on 90% of the pain disappeared immediately. After using it during the day and removing it while I sleep for the last couple of weeks my pain is now 100% gone and I'm not using it as much anymore. I can't praise this item enough because it really works. If you are experiencing lower back pain which radiates from a little lower then you have to try this. You will not regret it.

Only made my si joint feel worse. I made sure it was properly in place, not too tight, not too loose. Unfortunately, it only made the pain worse. I've had si joint dysfunction for 18 years, so maybe in the early stages, it helps. But, if it's reached a chronic stage, I don't believe it does much good. Just see your pain management dr.

I have mixed feelings on this. I had lumbar fusion 5 months ago and have pain when going from sitting to standing. I also have low back pain when walking a certain distance and standing for extended periods of time. Most days I do feel that this belt helps, especially when compared to days that I don’t use it.

Whoever created this belt is a genius! It's not perfect; but trust me-this helps! It supports your core! I wear mine over my skin NOT my clothes. It does leave red marks because of this; but I feel it provides more effective support that way im my opinion. (I haven't worn it over my pants yet but may try it).

works how it’s supposed to, however, I paid for a new, unused belt and received a used belt - very disappointing

I just bought my second Serola belt and can't say enough good things about this belt. I bought my first one 20 years ago! The only reason I bought another one is because there is some foam padding on parts of the belt and it is beginning to crumble at the edges. This belt was recommended the first PT I ever worked with. It is narrower than most belts, but that is what makes it easy to wear under clothing. It is not bulky at all. Also, wider belts for back support tend to fold over if your belly is not trim and slim. I wear this when vacuuming, doing yard work, and sometimes just walking. It is well made and I'm sure this one will last another 20 years. I have had other belts for support and there is no comparison to the quality of the Serola belt. It was pricy compared to others sold on Amazon, but having had one for 20 years - I think this is worth the price.

Easy to clean, easy to wear under work clothes, comfortable and very helpful.

This belt is just great I had my doubts at first, I can go on a long walk with no pain just wearing it in the day has helped would recommend this to anyone the support is good I wear it shopping walking

I have PBS and this belt has definitely helped. It is very comfortable to wear during walks. A bit difficult while sitting to I take it out mostly while sitting. My chiropractor suggested this belt for my pregnancy and I have been wearing it since my fifth month. A definite recommendation even though it is expensive. It sits low and does not press on the belly.
