**Q: What's the point of this? Does flipping truly make a better waffle? How so?**
A: No, it really doesn't.  I have a cheap waffle maker that doesn't flip and it cooks perfectly on both sides.  I had this flip waffle maker at one time and the handle connections broke while trying to wash it.  It maybe had a dozen uses before breaking.

**Q: 5th photo is another B & D product. You may want to remove that photo.**
A: There are actually 3 products pictured - one with red and green, one with green only, and the one with the dial and power in the base. I used the 'image report tool' only to get told that that one in particular (https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/417o6JERgML.jpg) needs "no change" to the image.

**Q: Does the product monitor the waffle for doneness or is the ready indicator based on elapsed cooking time?**
A: The ready light indicates w/I is ready and hot .  The only way to determine if the waffle is cooked to proper doneness if watch steam, steam means cooking NO steam is cooked and ready
 ( From Manuel)  makes great waffles.

**Q: How thick are the waffles?**
A: Thicker than the frozen kind. I use a waffle mix and add milk instead of water too.
