We found that the Stockpot was very high quality and made of slightly thicker Stainless Steel then many out on the market.. The additional items just added to the value was the stainless steel ball valve and the high quality gauge, which we found to be working with no problems. When we need to add to our setup, we will be definitely purchasing another.

I bought this to make it easier for when I move my beer from the cook to the carboy. Previously I used a big funnel and would pour it in. Always made a mess when making more than 3 gallons. Not any more. moving it to the fermentor is a breeze, no mess, and monitor temp is way easier as well! I would recommend this to any homebrewer!.

It arrives in pieces with no instructions how to assemble the temperature gauge or the drain. Also, it lacked pieces, ie a critical rubber seal, so it ended up leaking water in spite of our best efforts. In the end, a complete failure!

A nice pot for the price tag. Big and shiny. A little thin on the Ss gauge. maybe a #22. Handles seem well welded, need to screw the lid handle. Thermometer and bulkhead work well. So far in happy with my purchase. The only down side is that I don't think is really a 45gal. They calculate the volume for a perfect cylinder. But this pot got a couple of curves and the upper diameter it's a little bigger than the bottom diameter. A brew a 17 gallon batch and it almost half full instead of a third. My calculation is this this pot it's around 41gallons. Good enough for 30gallon batches .

Very happy with the increased capacity and thermometer built in. Great price for the size.

Nice pot. Gets the job done for the home brewing I do. A little assembly required but fairly self explanitory.

I ordered 3 of these for a project. All three arrived severely dented. One arrived with an extra thermometer and valve but neither of the thermometers was usable. One had broken glass, the other had a severely bent probe. I would not trust it. I guess the company thought it the purchaser’s responsibility to cannibalize parts from two broken thermometers to make one good one. I am not sure. There was not even a simple diagram of how to assemble the valve, nipple, O rings, and nuts to prevent leaks. The stainless steel valve requires the installation of a nipple so short you cannot use a pipe wrench without damaging the threads. Pro tip on that... use two opposing nuts on the nipple to seat it firmly first. In normal times these would have been scrapped and never sold. Not impressed.
