Dinosaur Electronics REPL F/3850712.01 Ignitor Board for Dometic Refrigerator

I replaced 2 OEM boards before I found this company with good engineers or know where they work.

I have a Dometic DM 2652 in my toy hauler and the fridge no longer lights on propane so I have to light it manually. I replaced the ignitor which didn't fix the issue. I tried replacing the board and it lit right up. It was super easy to install, took maybe 10 minutes. I took several photos before disconnecting the old board but ended up just swapping over one wire at a time so I didn't need the photos. The only thing that wasn't obvious is the connection for the ignitor is a bit different. The connector is there you just have to look for it. This part came in just a few days and now my fridge works like new again.

Easy remove and replace board. My Dometic RM2551 refrigerator had completely quit. Works great now. I can hear the solenoid pop when I turn it to gas mode and the ignitor really sparks now. Works in AC and LP gas modes now. Electric never worked in the 3 years I have owned the used trailer. I probably have the cleanest back compartment of any 13-year-old trailer in the US! I am currently tweaking the temperature as it has a small dial control.

I wanted to give this a month of full time use before I review this item. I live full time in my rv also so it’s getting used 24/7. After more than a month I can say that this has my Dometic rv fridge working like a charm. The freezer freezes and the fridge cools. My original 2008 motherboard was only allowing the gas feature to work and the electric setting was intermittent. I made sure my thermistor and heating element were good using a multimeter. I hadn’t lost any ammonia so I figured it was the motherboard. Bingo!!!!So I am very impressed with this item.The cover on your old motherboard will tell you which replacement board you need. Dinosaurs website is an aid for you as well.P.s. Make sure the battery power is off as well as the a/c unplugged. Take a photo of how the wires are plugged in to the one your replacing. Then refer to the picture when putting in the replacement motherboard.{{{{ I had some arcing because I put wires on wrong and forgot to unhook 12 volt power but luckily it didn’t kill the motherboard}}}}
