I am so very pleased that I overlooked the negative reviews and made this purchase. It came in three boxes, all well packed with no missing or broken pieces. I will note that when tracking the package the number of parcels wasn't noted and two came on April 7th and a third- that I wasn't expecting because a. I hadn't opened the first two boxes and b. UPS emailed a confirmation that my package had been 'delivered' with no mention of anything outstanding- came the next day. I doubt that the seller has much control over that, but I'm sure many are like me and prefer to make sure they're home to receive packages like this, so I wanted to share my experience in that regard.Now, the bed. It's GORGEOUS! The headboard and bed rails are thicker than what they appear to be in the picture and each piece is well padded. The color may be slightly darker than what's pictured, I'm not sure. The picture is a good representation of the bed. It's sturdy and heavy and a breeze to put together. I assembled it by myself in under two hours. The instructions were primarily pictures, but easy to follow, although each box (the headboard, the rails, and the support system) all came with the tools and hardware as if they were being used independently so there are a lot of bolts and washers that won't be used. The support system does appear and feel flimsy, but with everything put together it supports my mattress really well. There's a small gap between the mattress and the rails. It's just enough to get a couple of fingers through. When tucking in my sheet and comforter, it was still a tight fit.I bought it in the spring of 2016, and I as I mentioned, I'm so, so happy that I gave this bed a chance!

This is the worst product I have ever purchased. The fact that Amazon continues to list products that are constructed as poorly as this one makes me question my desire to ever purchase these big ticket items from them ever again. This product is absolutely not worth the price. To say you get what you pay for would be giving this bed too much credit. Do yourself a favor and buy literally any other product with your money.I received and constructed the bed within a few days, and that process was easy enough. However, the first night I slept on it, the wooden slats feel out and the legs on the middle beam broke, leading the bed to completely collapse. The legs and screws were bent and the middle metal beam was also bent completely beyond repair. This was after one night. I tried bending everything back into place but the entire structure of the bed was broken.Beyond that the size of the bed itself is too big, so your mattress and box spring will look small as they don't fill the incorrectly-sized space.This is a great bed to buy if you like sleeping on the floor and throwing away your bed.

This bed looks exactly as it does in the photo colour wise. It has a nice 4ft high headboard and the texture is beautiful. The only thing I would say about this is that once assembled it does squeak when I move around on it. The slates that hold the mattress in place are on the cheaper side which is what causes the squeaking. I used to have the ikea Malm bed frame and I think those european slates are a better quality. I plan on going to ikea and buying those in the queen size to attempt to correct the issue of the squeaking. Otherwise it is a beautiful addition to my room that I am sure I will enjoy for years to come.Not that hard to assemble as long as you have a friend helping you, but we had it done within 2 hours including cleanup.

It is not a standard Queen size. it is about 2 inch too big on inside messures all around a standard Queen mattress. like fabric though. but still does not make up for the not fitting mattress.

Bed is great except for the wooden slats under the mattress. If you move too much or have too much activity they fall out of place and your mattress ends up on the floor. Definitely would get a more sturdy frame to put underneath.

Delivered as expected. Great price for it's size. Comfortable and looks great. Easy to assemble and feels really sturdy.

We bought this as a guest bed. The bed itself looks really nice, and we received many compliments on it. But after just two nights with people sleeping on it, the slats started falling out. It started with one, and we kept putting it back every morning, but eventually about 10-15 of them fell out, and now it is just impossible to use the bed. :(

I was very pleased with the bed. Easy to put together. Fabric looks very nice. Color is a tad darker than the picture online, but not so off that it was an issue. Others had commented on the size to frame being an issue. Our mattress fit fine with just a bit of space around the sides that I find helpful in tucking in sheets.
