The Official Soviet SVD Manual Paperback – July 1, 1999

I have had a Dragunov for a while, and this guide has helped out a lot in the areas where I could not quite understand. The retired servicemember who wrote this uses the Army language of if you are not quite in step with everyone else, it is simple to understand, but not so simple that a person of higher intelligence would be insulted in it's text but still understand it. I highly reccomend this book!

A really easy translation to read and understand. This book is good for the PSL as well as the SVD, some small differences. The only negative comment I can make is this was/is written for the rifleman and has limited information for an armorer.

That's exactly what i expected from this book, the mains usual parts and few goods, perfect to study the basics of SVD family.

Very good translation. This is obviously something you buy from a collectors point of view. It is not an user manual for anyone who owns a Dragunov (then again how many private non-military people would own a Dragunov?)

Well written and illustrated informative and good diagrams

This is the genuine military manual, translated for all the Western gun enthusuasts. I recommend it to all those interested in military weapons and/or sniping.

Suchte schon lange dieses Buch. Kostet sonst ein paar hundert Euro. Das Buch ist sehr sehr informativ und erklaert alles sehr gut. Der eglischen Sprache muss man schon etwas maechtig sein. Ehr nix fuer Laien.

J'ai aimé ce livre que j'ai trouvé très détaillé et complet concernant l'arme qui m'intéressait. Le seul bémol concerne certaines images de qualité moyenne, un dessin aurait été plus explicite.
