I looked at all the keyboard dedicated mounts and most reviews had issues. So I ordered this to put my 17" keyboard on. This thing is heavy duty and even though narrower than the keyboard but the bottom lip holes it right in place and is perfect for what I was looking for.My desk has a rounded front and I have three monitors. The one on the left is my work monitor and since that placement means I had to lean over to type on the keyboard all day. I'm a systems/software engineer and work from home full time, so needless to say, my back, neck and arms would get sore after a days work.In comes this fantastic arm with a perfect length. Once extended it places my arms in a perfect position to type when I'm sitting straight up in the chair. So it's a winner for those with awkward situations like mine.One thing to note is, the price is great, but it comes in a lot of pieces, so lots of assembly to do. Instructions are good but tiny text so at my age, had to squint to see which screws I needed.The arm is strong and stays steady and swivels to the side of the desk when not in use. Build is heavy duty and stable if you tighten things as they are supposed to be.Overall, I would recommend this to anyone needing it for a laptop or keyboard. Nicely machined and solid.

This product (and the support) gets an enthusiastic 5 stars (6 if it were possible)! It is very sturdy and stable on the side of my workbench with the clamp assembly. The movement of the arm that holds the laptop tray is also smooth and stable. I attached a homemade mouse pad to the side of the tray, and the arm still stayed solid. I use the unit while riding my recumbent bike, and it easily adjusts to my riding positions. The arm has four connections and the 2 middle ones were impossible to adjust. Yulia in Customer Service was very helpful in advising that I could use a hex wrench with a longer handle. I had been afraid of breaking something, bur her advice was comforting and effective. Her responses to my emails were timely, which is unheard of today. Some reviewers have said it's good for the price, I'm saying it's excellent regardless of price!

This has eliminated the neck pain I used to have to suffer through when I kept my laptop on my desk and had to look down at it. It was easy to assemble, it moves smooth and easily, and it's not made with cheap parts that I need to worry about breaking or wearing out. I'm actually going to buy another one soon for my work laptop so I can have them both elevated in front of me with plenty of desk space for other things below them.I'm giving it four stars, but I wish I could give it four and a half because my only issue with it is that it doesn't hold the laptop perfectly level. I have a 17.3" ASUS VivoBook, and the top left side of the screen is about 3/8" lower than the right. It's no big deal, and I don't even notice it when I'm hyperfocused on work, but when I do notice it, it does bug me a bit.

Super stand but understand the tray was really loose and I fixed it by installing a shims to the tray connection for a tight fit. No movement while using my macbook and iPads. Take note the stand is heavy duty easy to adjust with my maxbook installed up and down while using two hands. After fixing the tray issue I must say this as what the doctor order. This is the most stable stand I have purchased.
