Works Perfectly
I got this and took it out of the box and plugged it into my Doogee S80 rugged phone and it didn't work at all. Nothing. Not even a crackle. Turned out that my USB C port had a little round raised ring around it and it just wasn't fitting in far enough to make contact. I trimmed the corners of the plug just a little bit and it snapped right in. Works flawlessly.

A USB C DAC that works with laptop, but have some imperfect parts
I bought this DAC for laptop instead of phone. The reason is this USB DAC is actually a little bit too big for phones. And, I bought this for my LG gram laptop. It works perfectly.But sill there is some imperfect parts. For example, the amplfier is way too powerful for some low impedance earphones. Even with volume one in windows, it is still too low for me.Second, don't expect to have professional performance. If your earphones are highly sensitive, you will definitely notice some noise.But, it is less than $10. If you need USB c dac, it is still a affordable and acceptable choice.

Great sound quality, affordable price
There seem to be a lot of unfavorable reviews for this item, but I think that might come down to people getting lemons or their devices not mating up exactly with this product.This is genuine HTC, and it has a much better dac than what you'll find in competing products. Better than the crumby Apple-made ones. If you don't want this one, the dongle made for the Pixel phones is a good alternative.Sound quality is very good and paired with specialized equalizer settings, this will make listening very enjoyable. The myth is that the 3.5mm have will sound better than a single. This is only true if the dac in your phone is better than the one in the dongle. The HTC dac in this dongle is better than the dac in most phones.

Works at first and after hours it gets broken
It didn't lasted a week despite i only used it for a couple hours ordered 2 different and the same happened on essential ph1

This Jack solved a low volume problem
I was suffering from the low volume problem in my Galaxy S21 Android phone with a jack I've bought somewhere in the local store. The volume was so low that was not able to listen a music. Even I started thinking of replace my mobile phone. Somebody recommended to buy an HTC jack.This jack increased a volume for about 40%!

Works as expected
It works with my LG phone. Supports button and mic functions. Chord could be a bit shorter and type c connecter could be shorter. Good sound quality.

Works with Mi Mix 2
I bought this for my Mi Mix 2 and it works with no issues. My headphones sound the same as when they're directly connected to my other devices. The adapter seems well build, but only time will tell how it holds up. For now I'm pretty satisfied.
